Re: .357 Magnum Revolver recommendations

Interested in pairing up a lever action rifle and revolver in same caliber. Have the lever rifle selected, need recommendations on good .357 Magnum revolvers, barrel length 3.5 to 5 inches. I have a .357mag fetish... I've got a S&W Model 19 (also the matching Model 29 .44mag) and 4 or 5 686's in va...

Re: Defense Plan Without Firearm Worked Tonight

I have put a lot of thought in securing my home and my firearm is the last resort. It worked tonight. I have a lot of lights, 8 alarm cameras, monitored burglar alarm, dog, extra enforcement on our doors. Tonight at exactly 9:26 my camera alarm at the front door went off. When I turned it on the do...

Re: This makes me sick.

Remember too 11 of 12 jurors agreed... very disturbing. Yup. Dallas has turned blue already, just like Houston. What's going to happen to Texas in near future with Austin and San Antonio being libtard-ville sanctuaries? There will be no real Texans left in the state, just California transplants wit...

Re: Road rage

Thought it would be cool if anyone wanted tell everyone your most extreme case of road rage. Since im sure we all have had some sort of incident in the past. Mine was pulling out of Walmart years ago and a truck pulling a nice off road mudding truck with probably 54 inch Super Swampers on a trailer...

Texas does not have any law regarding brandishing.
This happened before the open carry law took effect, not sure if that matters?
[/quote]

Nope. Texas has nothing defined and hasn't, as brandishing. It's assault.

Re: Woman killed by FT Worth PD officer

There is no excuse for this. The cop needs to have the same fate. At a minimum he should be financially ruined for life and never be allowed to work in law enforcement again. This woman's life was taken in her own home and this officer did nothing to asses the situation, identify himself, use an oun...

Re: Ring Doorbell

Keep in mind that if you go with a Ring Pro and you use hardwired chimes, there is an issue where the Texas heat will kill the LiPo battery in them after 18 months or so. The doorbell itself will keep working, but your hardwired chimes will suddenly stop working. No alert or anything from the app. ...

Re: Ring Doorbell

My wife is on me to get a Ring or similar doorbell camera. She gets no argument from me except the space available is extremely narrow and won't permit a flush mount. Talked to my BIL this weekend and he was aware of one that pivoted out so it could be mounted at an angle and still see who is comin...

Re: Dillon Blue Press: Interesting Article

The Blue Press came today and it has an interesting rebuttal article on Page 32. Actually, there are several rebuttals, but the one that interests me is the one by Dr. England. I didn't read the article in the last issue that is the subject of rebuttals, but apparently was horrible. I'll see if I s...

Re: Walmart has fallen!

Walgreens just joined in: https://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2019/09/05/walgreens-gun-policy/ Well there is CVS... And with so many companies "asking" or "requesting" I'm going to keep on my normal routine unless I see signs or am asked not to carry. Yep, I concealed carried in both Wally World and Kr...
