At $239 (vs the $40 and $70 I was looking at) I would sure hope so.

But perhaps I'm looking at this wrong. Rather than have the vest have a pocket for the firearm, maybe I would be better off with a shoulder harness worn under the vest?

Motorcycle Vest for carrying

I am looking for options for a motorcycle vest that allows me to carry. Thus far, I have found these http://www.leatherup.com/p/Mens-Motorcycle-Vests/USA-Leather-Mens-Combat-Gun-Pocket-Vest/6944924.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://www.leatherup.com/p/Mens-Motorcyc...

Re: Is this a "professional sports event"?

HOWEVER, if is a college or interscholastic event, it is still off-limits It is NOT a college event. The players attend colleges (different ones, from multiple states). But neither the team, nor the league is affiliated in any way with any college or university. Nor are they sanctioned, licensed, o...

Is this a "professional sports event"?

My town (Bryan, TX) has a baseball team in the "Texas Collegiate League". This is a summer league for college-eligible players to get more exposure to professional scouts. I just saw on the Texas3006.com site that the field has posted a "51% sign" in the concession area". Wh...

Sign at entrance to property (not door)

A friend of mine recently posted this pic at the entrance to the new Scott & White hospital in College Station. Assuming there is a similar sign at all of the entrances onto the property, is this a legal 30.06 sign? In other words, can it be at the entrance to the property, or does it have to be...

Re: concealed carry in my church

Actually - private schools are allowed to give explicit permission for people to carry. They are not treated equal to public schools. To clarify, ANY school can give explicit permission to carry. The Harrold, TX ISD did it for their teachers a little over 2 years ago http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2...

Re: Starbucks on 2/14/12

Generally speaking, I don't like Starbucks. I think their prices are WAY too high.

But I can make an exception this V-day. :cheers2:

Re: concealed carry in my church

Actually - private schools are allowed to give explicit permission for people to carry. They are not treated equal to public schools. Therefore, the way to handle this is for the church to post a sign like the bank in Chapel Hill, TX. http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/1245/securedownload2oj.jpg

I guess the badge also helps the wife to remember to tell the 911 dispatcher "the good guy is the one with the gun...."

Re: My first 30.06 encounter.

Just keep in mind the whole story about the nurse that beat the rap, but still took the ride. I'm sure this place thinks this sign is legitimate and will call the police if they discover your gun and it is likely you will take a ride. I see this kind of post over and over again. Having liberty and ...

Re: WTB Kel Tec PF 9

To be honest, as cheap as this gun is NEW - it might be hard to find used. I know I paid $270 for the one I bought for my wife (and it was the parkerized finished version). I'd suggest visiting a few gun stores and getting it new.

FS: Beretta AL391 Urika 12ga shotgun

My son-in-law is selling his Beretta shotgun. His dad bought the shotgun for him only a few years ago, paying ~$1000. He is asking $775 - wanting to get enough to buy a Glock 21 gen4 (so if you have one, a trade is DEFINITELY do-able). As you can see from the pics, the stock was shortened a bit. The...
