Sad thing is that 90% of these cases probably are scumbags who need to be in prison. But you can't trust the evidence and the only just course of action is to dismiss, because an even bigger scumbag was wearing a badge.philip964 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 5:03 pm https://www.click2houston.com/news/inve ... -dismissed

Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray
Wasn't there recently some drama about the DA asking for more money to hire more prosecutors, and it getting denied by the commissioners court? I think it was a straight party line vote, 2 republicans in favor, 3 democrats opposed (double check me on this). This tickles my crazy conspiracy theorist hairs.philip964 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 21, 2019 4:25 pm https://www.click2houston.com/news/-pub ... ines-cases

"I am pleased they (the FBI) have opened a formal civil rights investigation," Acevedo said. "We welcome it in the spirit of transparency."

Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray
Well it looks like they're going to be able to bury it without an investigation or anything close to consequences, so it looks like it's working out pretty well. It's amazing how easy it is to make sure that your story is taken as the truth when you execute the suspects on the spot.
