Re: Fort Worth's dollar store rules are Bloomberg nanny style!

OneGun:

Michael Bloomberg, as Mayor of NYC, banned all soft drinks larger than 16 ounces, since he is a lib who likes to keep people from making their own decisions.

He is a rabid anti who funds the astro turf anti gun groups.

Fort Worth's dollar store rules are Bloomberg nanny style!

https://fortworthtexas.gov/news/2019/12 ... re-Zoning/

The above link details the crazy rules which the City of Fort Worth has imposed on any new dollar stores located within the city limits.

This would appear to mess with the business practices of Dollar General, Dollar Tree, and Family Dollar. Those are the main chains that would be negatively affected by these rules.

They want 10% of new dollar stores' floor areas to sell fresh meat, produce, and dairy. This is an SJW (Social Justice Warrior) attempt to eliminate the "food desert" problem that is alleged to exist in low income areas.

Dollar General, and maybe some others, already has a dairy section, and some food items. But I believe that Fort Worth's decree to make store owners meet the 10% of floor area rule is over reaching.

Michael Bloomberg, the anti large soda candidate, should be mighty proud of his Fort Worth SJW's.

Mesquite, Texas apparently has some kind of rules along these lines, but the story made only a passing reference to Mesquite (Dallas County).
