Re: Fixed Blade Knives

I've seen the video on how it is intended to be carried, but would like to know about its general retention and if it could be worn upside down hanging from around my neck underneath a shirt. That's how I carry it every day - I ignored all the waist-carry gadgets that came with it. Retention is ver...

I gotta wonder. Many of the things he does is to keep the left chasing their tails. I just gotta wonder if this is one of those things.

Re: Paddle Holster: Inside the pants or just the belt?

If the Forbus holster is meant to go inside your waist band then why is it designed with hooks to fit under your belt? Those hooks go on the outside of the belt to keep the whole thing from coming out when you draw or remove a magazine under a high stress situation. Those hooks should be in the sam...

ITP - Inside The Pants

I even put the paddle of my double mag carrier ITP. It is more secure that way and just flops around too much if only ITB/OTP. ;-)

Re: Shoulder Holster Solutions.......

For everyone that uses a shoulder holster, another, but different question. Once you've gotten your rig adjusted how you like it, do you trim off the excess strap? Or do you somehow affix it to the other side with double sided tape or another method? Now that I've had mine set for quite a while now...

Re: Fixed Blade Knives

It's a mean little thing, yeah. It punched through and broke a hog's rib at the Weaponology class in OK last year with no damage to itself; it definitely passed the tests (no snagging, sufficient penetration and no breakage) and impressed everyone. Many of the knives in the below pic failed one or ...

The last comment I read in that listing (today) said the signs were gone when the poster returned to take pictures. Before seeing your post here I was out and about today and stopped by this building to check it out. I walked all the way around the building and inside the main doors where the DMV i...

I have a couple of fixed-blade knives at home - Cold Steel SRK I used in Iraq, a Gerber Mk II - but my EDC is a CRKT "Obake Skoshi" (small version of their Obake).

Re: Fixed Blade Knives

I have several fixed blade knives. I don't consider any of them to be the "be all and end all" I don't know if that exists. I keep with me, most of the time, the following: ESEE 5 Plain edge https://eseeknives.com/knives/esee-knives/esee-5/ Big, beefy, all around great survival/bushcraft knife Buck...

Re: What do you have your Browser's home page set to?

I use Chrome and what comes up is those big "icon" like things of the 8 most frequented sites. My top 4 in order are this forum, a Goldwing forum, my e-mail, and my google calendar. I guess you could say my home page is google. IDK

Fixed Blade Knives

I have a few myself and other than an old bowie knife that is now legal the others would not be considered a fighting, self-defense, or general purpose knife. Well, maybe one, but it's too purty to carry. My bowie is big and heavy and in terrible condition and has been relegated to a general purpose...
