My first thought wasn't that he was looking for a payday on a racism charge. He could be anyone from a full blown idiot radical terrorist stupid enough to ask questions that raised peoples alert level to a concerned parent with a child in the school that wanted to know if they knew the answers to his questions. There have been a couple of parents/dads that have done something dumb like this to bring attention to this type of thing before. IIRC, both of those were arrested and at least one did jail time.
They went to jail for asking questions about the security where their kids went to school?!? Surely there's more to the story...
The only one I can find at the moment is this one. He did more than ask questions.

He was found Not Guilty. I think he was lucky, but they probably came to this verdict because he had no real intent of causing harm and did not have a weapon on him. BTW, I had not looked up the outcome of this before this time. I though for sure he was going to jail.

IDK about that one. Lock him in with whoever is there? That just might set him off. After he's left, lock the place down and call the police, but they waited 2-3 days. That's the part I'm confused about. However, the police have identified and spoken with the man. We don't know what else.

I don't follow your logic here.
He learned he'd have enough time to __________.
(insert hypothetical scenario of your choice)
Or he learned it was too close. He hasn't done anything other than ask the questions.

The police are wanting to question him.
It sounds like there weren't any at the school and the station is far enough away for his purposes.
I don't follow your logic here. It doesn't matter how far away the station is, which BTW is 0.6 miles according to google maps. Anyone asking these types of questions should be investigated.

Anygunanywhere
Saw this yesterday on a satire site. Gave me pause about its authenticity.

According to the Moore PD public affairs officer this didn't happen. (Bottom of page)
For what it's worth, the couple that makes up the Snopes team (the Mikkelsons) are hard-core lefty Dems and some of what they have claimed to debunk is actually true, and some of what they claim to be true is actually bunk.

Their shenanigans is easily findable on the Internet.
I've heard this for a few years now. I wonder if there's a site fact checking snopes.

Awe, kill joy. :biggrinjester:

I was hoping we would have something else to follow OK up with in the gun law arena. :grumble
