I'm planning on being there, but can't guarantee it yet. Jusme coming does put a little pressure on those of us that live a bit closer. We'll see how tonight goes if I can get any sleep. The last couple nights have I've only gotten a few hours each.
I hope you get better sleep tonight. To add to the pressure for you to show up, tomorrow may very well be the last breakfast I attend until after the election. I kinda roped myself into some volunteer work related to that. The last thing we need is for Texas to turn into the place I fled from.
I didn't get back on the forum and see this until just now.

BTW, regarding my Safariland 7TS holster for my Glock 21SF with TLR1 light: there is a slight bit of travel up and down, but not side to side. It might be 1/8 or 1/16 of an inch. I didn't notice it until I was taking everything off when I got home to get in the pool. As far as the holster itself on my belt, though, it is pretty snug and doesn't flop around. And it is very lightweight. When I first got it, because of how lightweight it is I thought it felt a bit cheap. However, 2-3 years later, it is just like it was the day I got it and has been very sturdy.

Yeah, I think I'll be able to make it too. With the recent increase in Covid cases and the fresh governor's mask decree, do ya'll thin Rudy's will still let us eat inside? It looks to be a little warm this weekend.

I've got some cool pictures from a recent trip I wanna show ya'll. SIA, I know you'll enjoy them.
I suspect it will be just like it has been the last 2 months.
  • They limit the number of seats at each table
  • The drink station is manned and you get a new cup for each refill
  • Tables are more spaced out than they ordinarily are.
Keep in mind, the mask order does not apply when eating or drinking.

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast

Sorry folks. Can't make this one. It's my weekend in the lab.

I know I haven't been to any in a little while, but I've been getting a bunch of OT at work and taking care of things around ours & my MIL's house when I do have time off. Hopefully, things wil calm down in another month or two and I'll see all ya'll again at breakfast.

:cheers2:

I won't be there, I'm afraid - too much going on, but have fun!
Don't be afraid Andy. We've never bitten you before and I really don't see it ever happening. Now that you're a full fledged 'merican, we don't even worry about your pronunciation of aluminium any longer. :biggrinjester:

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast

I'm planning on being there and if Mrs. Dub is awake, she may also come.

And the new parents, H-Dub and Daddy might also be there sans babies.

BTW, this past 10 days has been a whirlwind of activity. At some point I will start a thread with more details about my first two grandchildren. There's just been a lot of stuff going on at home, work, and with stuff in general. More than usual! I haven't even been able to get out to stand/ride with my Patriot Guard Riders in almost a month.

Gonna be there. Might even bring my wife. She's been talking about wanting to meet ya'll.
She's not give me grief about the calendar thing too, is she?
That's funny.

I don't think so, but she might. Probably not as much and they're both becoming more proficient with it and using it more. Not as much as I'd like, but they do use it and add stuff to it. She's not a morning person, so the odds are not in her favor for getting out that early.

just wish it was closer like more east! If was would have been there
I feel your pain. I have to drive from DFW Airport to Commerce a few times and always at a difficult time from a traffic standpoint. It isn't fun. But sometimes, the results are worth it.
As long as I lived and worked Dallas know it like a book I hate to go there plus 1-1/2 hr 1 way maybe more, would love to attend BUT not drive 3 hrs to do so, sure wish a meeting in Garland-Rockwall area or even more east anyone wish to shoot a match then a lunch next Sat?
We completely forgot to talk about meeting out in Terrell one of the off weekends. That's still in the works Lena. Is Terrell close enough? That's about an hour or a little more for most of us and IIRC, you're near Tyler, so about an hour for you too, right? Maybe we can even draw in some other eastern folks to Terrell.
