Still, even with this revised estimate, it's very difficult for me to get my head around the notion that there are only 24.4 million ARs, AKs, and variants
Well, this doesn't count all of the ones that were lost in boating accidents.

I still use it as a very good reference when I have a question. I thank everyone on the for that is willing to answer my questions. I confess I have not been here unless I NEED something. That is as lame as the friend that never calls unless he wants something. Well, I have simplified life a little...

Re: Why is the Texas Republican Party trying to stop drive-thru voting?

The wife & I voted at the Tarrant County Sub-courthouse yesterday. From the time we got in line, until we walked out to the place where we first stood in line was 22 min. No complaints at all. And sure glad it's over with. Phew. :patriot:

We will probably watching the elections returns fall out. I don't know what to expect but I think it will be exciting. Planning on ordering out to Jason's Deli, maybe David's BBQ here in Arlington. In any event, it will be exciting. :patriot:

Re: Protests - the next level?

I guess this is the next level torturing a puppy on live TV to protest the death of a man in police custody. Caution. I did not - could not - dig into the very far, but such a person that would torture an animal as "protest" is a psychopath that should be put down asap. I totally agree! T...

If Trump cannot issue orders to close (and he did not, just guidelines), then he can't issue orders t...

Re: The great Texas Novel

They came out and visited me, asking many questions: can you give us a description of the kidnappers? ; did you get their license plate number? ; what kind of vehicle were they driving? ; and a whole lot more. Then they shined a funny light in my eye and I don't remember anything else.
