Re: Greetings! new member from Chicago IL

Welcome to the best forum on the internet and the greatest state in the Union. :txflag: I grew up in Southern Illinois but haven't lived there since Jr. High before the DOD moved our family overseas. I'm going West of Chicago next month to visit family who moved there last year. :nono: Going to have...

Re: AR options for the Lefty?

Interesting. I'm right handed but left eyed, so I shoot rifles left handed. I added ambidextrous charging handle and safety. I've thought about ambi mag release and may yet do that. But a LH AR is intriguing.

Re: Priorities for 2019 legislative session

1. Remove all off-limits areas for LTCs; 2. Exempt volunteer security personnel protecting schools and students from the Texas Private Security Act. Chas. Removing off limits areas for LTC's needs to be an all out effort by all 2A groups! The Ft.Worth Paper online has had multiple articles on Const...

Re: DFW West/Southwest Quadrant Breakfast

Good breakfast and conversation this morning. Very enjoyable. My wife just said she learned a lot from listening to us talk. She didn't clarify if what she learned was good or not.. Thanks to Flightmare for the 2nd Amendment Challenge coin! Definitely a great time. And kudos to Flightmare...

Can't the call be traced?
It's rather easy to spoof phone numbers and use voice over ip (VOIP - internet calls) that are not easily traceable.

Re: Eye Pro over Prescription glasses?

When my prescription changed, I put my old glasses in my range bag and just use them. The difference in strength doesn't affect target shooting. But I used to wear eye protection over my glasses because they are so expensive to replace.

Re: Parkland survivor David Hogg

Crap like this is not helping our side at all. I hate that I even have to say our "side" we should all be on the side of the constitution and America. Both Hogg and the caller are total idiots, and who the hell is giving him an award? :iagree: I wouldn’t be surprised if this was done by someone on ...

Re: Tis the season!

Great advice. I also tell my wife and kids to not leave ANYTHING visible in the car. One time my wife left an empty box in the back seat to throw away later. I told her not to do that as bad guys don't know that its trash, they just see something that may be valuable inside.

Re: Parkland survivor David Hogg

Thankfully he nor his family were home, but David Hogg was the recipient of a Swatting call this morning. This should not happen to anyone and I hope they catch who did this. the Broward County Sheriffs received a call at around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, "saying someone broke into Hogg’s home with ...

Re: AP considers 7-2 a narrow decision

It is a win for the baker and his religious freedom - no question. But I'm disappointed that the court didn't clearly affirm the 1st Amendment for all Americans. There is a movement to redefine the freedom of religion and limit it to the freedom of worship. This is an important distinction that the ...
