Re: Masks now required for voting

I voted in Collin county. They had a sign that said masks required. So I walk up to the poll worker with mask on and hand him my ID. He was behind plexiglass and also wearing a mask. He took my DL and without even looking at me ran it through computer and set me up. I could have been anyone using a...

I like Ted!

The problem, though, is that without huge fines, peeled back protections and real consequences, it's just a much deserved, feel good chewing.

Not sure how others do it, but I use an external service called PostImages. https://postimages.org/ It's free. You upload your photos there. When you select a particular photo it gives you some links for various purposes. Click on SHARE, then click on/copy the one identified as Hotlink for Forums (t...

Re: Why is the Texas Republican Party trying to stop drive-thru voting?

My spousal unit and I decided we'd drop off our ballots at the county collection site rather than lick stamps and go to the post office. Travis County on Airport Blvd in Austin was well organized. It took us about ten minutes, half of which was driving in, parking, and then driving back out. The pol...

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a "ham sandwich indictment"?
I think there's "an old saying" that a DA can present whatever evidence to a grand jury they feel appropriate, omitting what doesn't fit their narrative, such that they could indict a ham sandwich of a crime if they desired to do so.

SOLD - Small Pistol Primers for Sale (and a few LPPs)

I picked up some reloading gear at an estate sale a while back, and I'm sorting through it. I have roughly 2,000 Small Pistol Primers which I don't need. This includes what appears to be 200 Small Pistol Magnum Primers. There are also a few hundred Large Pistol Primers, including a container of LP M...

Re: My “truck” gun is...

I betcha one could argue that a sling carried over/around the shoulder could be considered a shoulder holster. One could make that argument, but I wouldn't want to bet my personal freedom on if being successful. That's the main reason I do not routinely carry an AR pistol in a vehicle. If, for some...
