Re: TX: one dead at shooting during police protest in downtown Austin tonight

I heard 2 set of fires, the first one sound like louder than the other. I would speculate: The person with rifle approached a vehicle and opened fire. The person returned fire and shot the person with the rifle dead. The article above does note the the shooter is cooperating with investigators. Mos...

Re: Pasture Gun?

The other day I cut some mesquite in a pasture where wild hogs are known to hang out. I was probably about 75 yards from my pickup. Before I went out there I thought--which is the best gun to have in case I am charged by wild boars? After some thought I carried the most reliable rifle I think I hav...

Re: Trouble transferring .pst file

Thanks. I'm guessing a simple "format" of the drive is not what I need to do. If I'm correct, how do I properly format it? Chas. Chas, This should get you there. You can also open Disk Management in Control Panel and reformat the drive but select NTFS instead of FAT32. You can also see if the forma...

Re: Trouble transferring .pst file

You might need to format / convert the USB drive to NTFS to handle that file size. I've been out of IT for a while, but I think if it's not NTFS, the file size limit is 4gb. This exactly. FAT32 file system the max file size is 3.8 gigabytes. You will have to format the flash drive to NTFS file form...

Re: Gov of TX issues mask order!?!

We have no problems wearing masks and have been since the first cases started appearing in the US. We had been tracking the Chinaflu while it was still in it's homeland, so we were already prepared. But, I do have a problem with the heavy handed manner that our elected officials have handled this. ...

Re: Joe Biden

I expect when Joe fails to show well the Progressives will call an audible -- perhaps back to Felonia von Pantsuit with Michael Obama as running mate. I am betting that the Biden camp is going to come up with some kind of lame excuse that keeps Biden from doing debates with Trump. They know this gu...

Mask order violators can be fined up to $250. There are exceptions for people who have a medical condition or disability, who are exercising outdoors, or who are participating in a religious service or voting.

Re: The name Dixie

Don’t you find it amazing that our flag, our culture, and our history offend so many people, but our benefits don’t? The term "master" is officially canceled when it comes to describing bedrooms and bathrooms ... at least when you're searching for a home in Houston. The Houston Association of Realt...
