Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

"The professor says that the assault only came to a stop when a third person, Mark Judge, intervened and jumped on top of them.

However, Judge has completely denied that the incident ever took place. Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California was also first made aware of the allegations back in July but concealed all information relating to them for weeks.

It has since emerged that Ford has a history of left-wing political activism;

– She signed a letter attacking Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy at the U.S.-Mexico border, asserting that it was “violating fundamental human rights”.

– Ford attended a women’s march event and even wore a version of the infamous “pussy hat” made to look like a brain."

"Turns out that Brett Kavanaugh’s mother was the judge in in a 1996 home-foreclosure case in which the defendants were the parents of Kavanaugh’s last-minute attempted-rape accuser Christine Blasey Ford. The house in question, pictured above, is in Potomac, one of the highest-income towns in Montgomery County, Maryland, the Washington, D.C. suburb that is one of America’s highest-income residential areas."

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

https://www.wsj.com/articles/christine- ... 1537188729

Christine Blasey Ford comes forward to accuse Brett Kavanaugh the SCOTUS nominee of a sexual attack while he was in high school.

This may trigger his withdrawl as a nominee which would most likely push the nomination past the November election.

Brett Kavanaugh has minced no words that it did not happen. Thus, where we might forgive a mistake made in high school, not admitting to it now is different, if it ends up being true.

Fortunately for both, it was not a he said she said event. Apparently there were witnesses. So a lot will depend on what those people say.

Hopefully Trump will avoid tweeting about the whole matter and let the cards fall where they will.

Just think of they actually investigated the Podedtas. Manafort would look like a saint in comparison.
If you want to know about the left and what the press does not mention.

I have to be careful here, as there are forum rules.

I can't post a link. I don't even know I can tell you what to look for on Google.

John Podesa has a brother, his name is Tony, he is a rich lobbiest.

He likes art. His kind of art. Lefty art.

To see images on Google you set the search to Images after you have made your initial search.

Tony could be in trouble.

https://dailycaller.com/2018/09/14/mana ... e-podesta/

Apparently Manafort's guilty plea also means that Tony Podesta should be indicted as they worked together both as unregistered agents of the Ukraine. So if he is singing and if the investigation is fair or if Meullar is at least trying to give the impression that the investigation is not just looking at Republicans, Tony Podesta should be arrested any day now.

Imagine how Tony could sing if he was arrested. He probably knows everything about the Clintons.

But then he would have a heart attack. You know from the stress of a boy like that going to prison. I have heard the inmates are especially hard on guys like Tony.

Another "tidbit" this morning... Manafort intends to plead guilty to two crimes of the seven he faced at trial: conspiring to defraud the United States and conspiring to obstruct justice.

Interesting to see how this will turn out. Could be big or nothing. Seems like he is having to give up a lot of vacation homes to the government.

Imagine your a Trump buddy the day after the election. You probably were happy and excited at your future. Probably not now.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Fact Check: NBC News checks Trump’s claim he supercharged the economy.

False- it’s just a continuation of the great economy Obama gave him.

All you have to do is look at the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The bell weather of America’s economy started sputtering in early 2016 failing to reach a new top and clearly signaling a downturn. With Hillary expected to win the market tried to reach new highs but clearly it had run out of steam. Trump’s surprise election caused the market to roar up 8000 points in just two years.

Dems win in November look out.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

CNN discusses how Trump is responsible for the hurricane, just as Bush was responsible for Katrina. If they had only signed the protocol.

"CAMEROTA: “Now it is time for a CNN reality check as Florence bears down on the Carolinas. The ‘Washington Post’ editorial is calling President Trump, quote, ‘complicit in this storm,’ not for failing to prepare but for failing to address climate change. So a senior political analyst John Avlon has more for us. What do you see, John?”

AVLON: “That’s right, Ali. Look, President Trump has been reaching for storm superlatives, as he wants to do, the biggest, the worst, the more dangerous and who can forget, tremendously wet.

But while President Trump has been talking up our preparedness his policies have been tearing down our defenses to climate change, which is often a blame for extreme weather.

In fact on the same day Trump was discussing Florence from the Oval Office, his EPA proposed rolling back restrictions on emissions of methane, which is 25 time worst than carbon dioxide when it comes to climate change. And that’s just the latest environmental policy targeted by the Trump administration."

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

http://thehill.com/homenews/administrat ... uerto-rico

Trump questions death toll of hurricane in Puerto Rico.

When the revised death toll went from 60 to 3000, I was curious and looked into it. How could they be that far off?

The first death toll which was around 60 came from the count of people whose bodies were found drown, under collapsed buildings, struck by debris, etc. right around the time of the hurricane. It probably also included people who died in car accidents attributed to the storm.

The bigger number is the people who were excess deaths. So if you take the average death toll from any reason, suicide, natural causes, heart attacks, you name it, and then you compare it to the death toll from any reason for the time of the hurricane and lets say go out 3 or 4 months, those excess deaths are people who also died from the hurricane.

Only the internet shows all the bottled water that sits undelivered on airport runways in Puerto Rico.
