Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Trump comes under heavy criticism from California firefighters for his comments on California wildfires of course this is picked up everywhere by MSM and all over the Internet. Celebrities and Rockstars really upset.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/11/politics ... index.html

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-twee ... wildfires/

This LA Times story if you read past required global warming statement backs up the President’s comments.

http://www.latimes.com/opinion/editoria ... story.html

Fire apparently was started by PGE power lines. Also correctly pointed out by the President.

G26ster,

One of my 'practices' is to 'not read' all the quotes.

Skip right past em I do.

Saves time.

Besides, all that extra posting verbiage is generally boring, so why bother spending time reading all that's come before and already read?

Those who copy a jillion previous posts with a one line post of their own...ugh.
All I ask for is paragraphs, like the post above. Thanks in advance.

Sizing up the blue wave as only NYT can do.

Trump made Jim Acosta a hosehold name at his press conference today. Press I guess was disappointed with outcome of election.

Big day for Trump and his agenda.

Big day for The Anti Trump movement and their agenda.

Voting machines malfunction all over the country.

Mine “seemed” fine.

But I prefer punch cards to electronic magic.

I guess constitutional rights apply to everyone in the world except for us, the US citizens.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/migran ... nal-rights
A dozen migrants traveling by foot from Honduras to the U.S. to seek asylum filed a class-action lawsuit Thursday against President Trump, the Department of Homeland Security and others, claiming a violation of their due process under the Fifth Amendment.
It appears a large number of American’s support the destruction of our country.

I’m a nationalist.

Regarding the 14 th Amendment, according to one constitutionalist who is much more knowledgeable than me, it was enacted to make former slaves citizens. An executive order in the ‘60’s changed the policy to allow foreigners who had a baby in the US, for the baby to be a citizen at birth. Thus an executive order could reverse that policy to the way it was before. Trump was as surprised as anyone that he could do that. The 14th Amendment was never intended to allow travel agents to set up citizenship vacations for pregnant foreign clients. One friend mentioned that he knew 3 friends who used the cheap travel insurance you can buy to pay for the delivery costs.

The US only allows one country citizenship. Many countries don’t care, so you can be a US citizen, yet retain your other passport, while renouncing your foreign citizenship in the US.

There is apparently also a lot of contemporary written statements by the drafters of what it was for and what it was not for.

I have been trying to explain this to some progressive leftists on Twitter but they refuse to listen and consider that it may actually be the case. Do you have a good source that lays it out in plain English using small words that I can share?
https://www.conservativereview.com/news ... ive-order/

It was not an executive order in the ‘60’s, it was then that the lax inforcement of the immigration laws started by the executive branch. Thus if the executive branch can not follow the law the executive branch can begin refollowing the law by executive action. Thus Trump’s power.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

https://mashable.com/article/donald-tru ... force-one/

Trump failing to figure out how to close an umbrella and then just dropping it, called a metopher for his presidency.

Critized for having a political rally on same day as Synogue massacre.

Critized for suggesting congregations provide some sort of security for these nut cases. Blaming the victim.

Critized for second guessing pitching change in World Series on a day that 11 died in a mass shooting by an anti Trump Nazi.

Normal slow news day for Trump.

If he wins the midterms, it was because he was fear mongering the Dems.

If he loses, it’s is an indictment of his failed presidency.

Please vote.

Leave Fox for liberal NBC.
Now your fired for not being PC enough.

Trump speaks in Houston!
I thought he came close to a major blunder talking about Harvey last night. I found myself holding my breath several times. Otherwise, was fun to watch. Was amusing to see several cutovers to people in the audience laughing about some of Trump’s Yankee vernacular. Looked like everyone was having a good time.

Amazing that there was 100,000 ticket requests.
Greg Abbott is a great speaker. Cruz and Dan Patrick as well. Trump did great, except for his Harvey talk about the Coast Guard, he has said before that people went out in the hurricane in little boats and they needed to be rescued by the Coast Guard. It was ill informed then, worse in front of Houstonians. Not sure who told him that, but he needs never to mention it again.

Everyone mentioned the second amendment. Cruz had Beto in the crosshairs with his votes in the House and an F from the NRA. Trump would have been the best speaker, if he had kept it to a half an hour, but he talked for at least an hour, and many people began leaving. Its hard to keep everyone at a high energy for that long as he was speaking past 8 pm. Most had been in line since before noon and had not eaten or had anything to drink for a long time. (I didn't have lunch) Only a 1/10 of the Toyota center vendors were open, so the lines for anything were impossible.

Everything that was said by all with the single exception of the little boats comment was right on the money.
