Dead man found in rental car, rented by Brionna Taylor 4 years before she was killed by police executing a warrant at her home.

Man had been shot 8 times. She did not know the man. She had loaned the car to a boy friend, who was later the target of the warrant.

Louisville Officer pleads guilty to falsifying evidence for no knock warrant that led to the death of Breonna Taylor.

4 officers met in garage to discuss what to say after shooting.

Nothing in Houston so far on false warrant that led to the death of a married couple and their dog in a similar no knock raid.

12 Seconds in the Dark.

New book by Police Officer who was shot in femural artery by boyfriend. Bought it today after hearing his account on the radio. I’ve found buying a book to me is like a vote or a campaign contribution or a go fund me donation.

He had a go fund me page. As did the dead woman, boy friend and family. Only his was taken down, only had his name. Nothing about politics or his role.

Involuntary transfered to property room after he was well enough to go back to work. Mayor wanted him fired.

Simon and Schuster agreed to publish then backed out.

Police enter SFAU college cheerleader girl’s dorm room with guns drawn after 10 other girls including her 3 roommates “swatted her”. She could have been Bryona Taylor. Standing with her mom and dad and represented by an attorney.

Hmmm. More information received from police. Rush to judgement by University President?

Re: KT: Louisville woman killed by police after serving a no knock warrant. CHL boyfriend fired at plainclothed officers

Posted on Facebook:

"Breonna Taylor was NOT shot while sleeping in her bed, she was awake, in her hallway. She was NOT an EMT at the time of her death; she was forced to quit YEARS ago, because a dead body was found in a car rented under her name; the victim was an "associate" of her drug dealing boyfriend. Even though a "no-knock" warrant WAS issued, the officers DID knock. Her neighbors testified under oath, that the police announced themselves BEFORE trying to enter her apartment. Her boyfriend shot a cop, BEFORE police fired their first round. She was STILL aiding and abetting her previous boyfriend's drug dealing operation; she and her car were surveilled delivering drugs to his "trap house" on numerous occasions. She was STILL stashing his drug money at her house. Her address was on record as being his current address on bank records. Her ex-boyfriend blamed her at-the-time boyfriend for her death, NOT the police.”

Ballistics was inconclusive on 9mm that entered officers thigh.

Re: KT: Louisville woman killed by police after serving a no knock warrant. CHL boyfriend fired at plainclothed officers

I agree with almost all of this above.

It is high time we address the issue of legally armed civilians being served with no knock warrants. We need to end them.

The similarities between the Tuttles and Ms Taylor are great as well as the differences in the reaction and media coverage.

To me it is totally unfair to put our police officers in this situation.

Reconsidering the war on drugs is a good second step. We only have to look at prohibition and the violence and criminality it created to see that, it doesn’t work.

Our war on drugs has destroyed our neighbor.

Louisville police major said BLM and Antifi “ will be washing our cars”.

I thought it was a pretty good comment. Commie pinko news media didn’t like it as well.

That was my understanding. A no knock warrant was issued, but for some reason the officers decided knock and announce. KY Attorney General said there was corroboration on the knock and announcement.
Still, something feels off. Why would you knock with a no knock warrant? Body cam would sure clear up some of the mystery.
:iagree: I was listening to an interview with one of the senior offices from Dallas PD on talk radio this afternoon. The officer said that one of the most important parts of gaining community support in some of these high profile (for right or wrong) is transparency. Sometimes, like in the Michael Brown matter with "hands up, don't shoot" the facts don't matter. In others, some straight information would help to keep the media from playing with facts. If any of the facts are true about packages of drugs being sent to her house by her previous boyfriend, some of the reasons for the raid are more clear. I've always had a problem with the no-knock premise that the evidence can be flushed down the toilet before the officers can get in to seize it. I'm not sure breaking down doors for the quantities of drugs that can be quickly flushed down toilets is the best strategy.
End no knock warrants. Period.

I remember when the "WAR" on drugs started. The War has killed a lot of people and I see today that we are no more winning it than when Nixon declared war in 1971. I feel a lot less safe in America, than I did in 1971. Maybe police resources could be used in better ways. I have always felt that the government should take the profit motive out of it. Have government drug stores where addicts can get the stuff at low cost with a little advice on the side.

Louisville will pay 12 million to the Taylor family.

There were also some police changes. None included stopping no knock warrants.

Does this mean Houston taxpayers will pay 24 million to the Tuttle family for the botched Harding street raid?

It’s been 18 months and still no answers.
