Re: Tucker Gunleather suddenly shut down
Tucker Gunleather (Longenecker?) didn’t make squat. He was a reseller for Tucker and Byrd. Tucker and Byrd still operates.
Yeah, that's the funny part about the whole thing. He got the reputation and money doing pretty much nothing.
The names are similar but they were NOT the same company ...

Re: Turks and Caicos- don’t visit with 2 bullets in the bottom of your luggage
You are now free to go to your favorite vacation spot. I will still be staying in the United State of Texas.
I'll keep traveling... BUT, I keep my gun bags separate from my travel bags. Guns, gun parts, ammo, etc don't come near them specifically for things like this, it's not worth the risk ...

Re: Weapon lights on your EDC with Paul Howe
I have seen too many people including police using their weapon lights for a “flashlight.” So you are pointing your gun and something or someone you DON’T want to shoot. I carry a small Sure Fire hand held light in my left pocket.
One of the Forum members (I don’t remember who) talked about ...

Re: Grapevine - Gun Range
TGE is really nice and super friendly every time I go, I was actually there a couple of days ago to shoot but they were too busy (40 minute wait). I bought a pistol instead, and they threw in a couple of free mags :thumbs2:
It's not cheap, and it's busy, but I like it.
In your experience ...

Re: The war with Iran
Attacks on US bases by Iran-backed "resistance" groups have increased by a LOT lately. Lots of drones vs the rockets and mortars we're used to.
Yep,the bases in Syria (why does the US occupy territory in a country that hasn’t invited us?) and Iraq (why do we still have bases in a country that ...

Re: True the Vote's Catherine Engelbrecht Delivers Message from Prison
I’m struggling to see how this has anything to do with a gun / self defense forum. Thus the reason many no longer participate here. One day I checked and I had to scroll through at least 12 threads before I got to anything firearm related, and out of the top 20 most recent posts only 2 were ...

Re: March 2, 1836 - Texas Declares Independence
The Zavala flag hangs proudly in front of my place (well, when I'm not deployed).
My great (x6) grandfather fought with Bowie at the Battle of Nacogdoches, kicking off the Texas Revolution.
Small world, ain't it? ;-)
