Re: Any pilots in here?

My son sent me this video link this morning. It’s a military flight video game, but apparently it’s the most detailed one ever devised, and a lot of the players are themselves retired fighter pilots etc. It requires actual learning of how to fly and fight the various aircraft and weapons systems, a...

Re: Any pilots in here?

My dad was a pilot and I've wanted to get my license for years. My current company has told me that they may be willing to help pay for it since they want me to start flying a larger unmanned system in the future, so I might actually have a shot at it soon. Oddly enough my FFL messaged me a week ago...

I honesty don't know why people waste their time and money on PCCs.
My smallest 300BLK pistol doesn't fit in my messenger bag.

My micro Scorpion does.

When I see any signs on my church limiting my ability to carry concealed in church, it is time for me to find another place of worship
Yep. A supposedly godly place refusing to allow me to protect the gift of life I've been given is frankly insulting and incompatible with my beliefs.

Re: Today I sent a complement to the Trooper that cited me

Though I was indicating to him the whole way that I knew he was there and I was attempting to find a safe spot to get off the road, I was prepared to be rebuked for not immediately pulling over. To my pleasure and his credit he cut me off mid apology and said no sir, you did absolutely right and I ...

Re: Just Opened in Grapevine - Texas Gun Experience

I went in to get a Glock 43X but they don't participate in GSSF pricing :grumble Try 1800GunsAndAmmo, located where 26 and Davis meet, in NRH. It’s a brick and mortar outlet for the Weby shops, which used to be located in Arlington, and recently relocated to NRH. I don't know if they participate in...

I'm there now. Trust me, we will take care of members, have best selection of stuff in town, and Membership is first priority. 6 public 50 yard lanes is the biggest in Metroplex I believe. 15 public 25 yard lanes. We do our best to match other local brick and mortar stores. $25 transfers, Silencer ...

Re: Just Opened in Grapevine - Texas Gun Experience

I spent an hour there this morning and got the grand tour from one of the employees. I think 15 25yd lanes, 11 50yd lanes, boardroom, lounge, large retail space, gunsmith, decent knife section, over 100 machine guns to rent, etc. I think their inventory is going to change a LOT, they have a bunch of...

Re: Crossfire Closing

Didn't they just open recently?? They were open two years. it is a difficult situation. I know a number of people who worked there and have now moved to a different range. We are all wondering what will become of the building. The bank has control of it now. Will it re-open as a range or get gutted...

Re: What were your political leanings at 18 years old?

Conservative with some minor "kiddy liberal" leanings I didn't recognize. My politics have evolved since then and continue to do so, but at this point its mostly rooting out conservative and liberal tendencies that would make me want to restrict freedom and liberty. I had a major libertarian awakeni...

Re: I'm Ashamed.

I haven't spent a dime at Walmart since their latest anti gun statements. I mean, I've been in Afghanistan this whole time but that's beside the point :biggrinjester: Holy cow! Afghanistan??? Glad you made it back safe. Do you get news there or is it all filtered? I'm still over here  (I'm a ...
