Even if the 30.06 sign does not meet the requirements of the law, I still respect the wishes of the establishment. You don’t want someone entering your home when you’re not there just because they may not get caught, do you? Yep, I respect their wishes as well as don't spend money at their business...

Just wanted to report back that I open carried about 15 ft or so away from Cruz - no issues. Never went through any sort of security or ticketing, nothing. Ted Cruz is apparently going to be in Cypress on Saturday, wife and I are considering going just for the fun of it. Anyone ever carried when going to a federal political event and had any trouble?

I haven't had cable service in 4 years. I get about 20 or so over the air channels, with maybe half of them in HD including multiple local news stations. The rest of my entertainment I get from Netflix or Amazon Prime. I honestly do not feel like I am missing out on anything besides a bloated cable ...
