I'll be there pending any unforseen circumstances.

That was tons of fun! Looking forward to the next one!
Great meeting everybody, especially Vol Texan! He's my first texas3006 volunteer I've met in person!

Re: Houston West Quadrant Breakfast
OK, so I have too much going on this weekend for me to attend as well, but I do plan on making the next one! Also the location is good for me too, easy drive in straight off of 99!
Hope everyone has a good time!

Last week the ICE director came from D.C. to meet with the sheriff and it sounded like we were going to stay. Strangely, he leaves and the sheriff pulls this.
Sigh. While Waller, Montgomery, and Galveston Counties move forward with the program, Harris County scraps it.
To pull this back on topic, even though I can't be there, maybe this might be a point of conversation next Saturday at the breakfast.

Chas.
I am in as long as I am in town.
Yeah I believe they are all 30.07.
I see 30.07 as a dress code personally, but if we are able to find a place that doesn't restrict either that would make sense to me I think. I find myself OC'ing most of the time now just out of comfort. I'm not super-opposed to meeting somewhere that posts 30.07 but I'd rather not give them money if we can help it.

You already know what my answer will be to that - I veto any places that are listed on my site!

Vol Texan wrote:Recommendations for a suitable location?
I'd personally say somewhere along 10 & 99 or 10 & 8 or anywhere north of there as that'd make it easy for me (and others) in the NW side to swing down for a visit.
As far as actual restaurants, I'm an open book. As long as it's decent food I'm happy

Re: Houston West Quadrant Breakfast
I'd consider that if it was on a weekend or a day I'd have off from work :)
