Re: Afghanistan: Green Beret who murdered Taliban bomb maker charged

does this fall under what happens in Afghanistan should stay in Afghanistan? For this specific case yes it should have been just that. That is not me saying all events should be buried...There have been unjustified things done....and they rightfully should be brought to light, but this ain't that. ...

Normally I am skeptical of state mandates but I'm starting to recognize the benefit of yellow vests for safety... Thoughts?
My thought... Who is this proposal coming from? Name please. What is the bill number?

Re: Parker County Deputy Shot in Foot

Deputy Turner also said the gunman took off as he crawled back to his cruiser to call for help. IANAL but it seems like a false statement about a shooting would taint any testimony the deputy ever gave in court, as well as any affidavits he signed to support search warrants. There’s no word on if D...

Re: Parker County Deputy Shot in Foot

IIRC, the Parker County SO Chief stated that "this is a known problem with that model of gun, which I will not disclose." wait so the chief claims to know of a firearm that could be potentially unintentionally dangerous to the citizens he is sworn to protect and serve but he refuses to tell those c...

The problem is "Proportionality". You can't introduce a firearm (use of deadly force) into a fist fight. Once again, we see CCWers fail to MYOB (Mind Your Own Business). Let just say I disagree. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/one-punch-attack-man-cctv-police-appeal-trafalgar-square-des...

And four months later he finally gets in front of a judge .... Except he never spent 7 years in combat, never mind "splattering people to pieces" he deployed ONCE Nov. 16, 2010 to June 14, 2011. in a typical "short" tour Marine Corps does. Sorry, my bad. I read that somewhere - a "machine gunner with 7 tours in Afghanistan." Thanks. No worries it was how the s...

On the other hand, 7 years of combat duty splattering people to pieces (he was a Marine machine gunner) can do strange things to you..... Re: The babying of the next generation!

The Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps all have long-term programs (2 - 6 years) that will help them work through those PTSD issues. Which ever one you sign up for will provide free meals, clothing, money, and housing. Lots of group activities will be included, as well. According to 2017 Penta...

Re: Knife Sharpeners

I have the Worksharpe and it does well to repair a blades condition after nicking it, but as others have mentioned I find it to aggressive for regular use. For regular use I use Lansky Deluxe 5 Stone Knife Sharpening Kit. It works best for me because it takes the need to hold a correct blade angle a...

Scary stuff here. Next they will want to know your religion. Sort of like calling for a ban on travel to the US for those of a certain religion? Yes, scary indeed, when we abandon Constitutional principles, in California or D.C. There wasn't a ban based upon religion. There was a temporary ban on p...

Re: Cajun Gun Works & Rebirth of an old friend

I loved the worn look, as I have grown to really appreciate honest wear. But the after pics are pretty awesome! Congrats again! Late question, if I may... Curious as to why you chose the def. carry pkg and what it changed on a gun you carried for a long time? Assuming it was always reliable...
