Re: Lonestar Armory Run and Gun (Biathlon)

I still want to do one of the Impact Run n Gun events out here in West Houston. I need to get off my butt.

I don't think it's good precedent to start putting ex-presidents in the clink.
It's also not a good precedent to allow for outgoing presidents and their administrations to tamper with elections but here we are.

Re: Property taxes

While it's nice not to have to file a state income tax return, I have a friend in a mid Atlantic state with similar income and home value, and his combined state taxes aren't any higher than mine. Yes, this. When we moved back to Texas, I was also looking at North Carolina which would have actually...

Re: CA: No place but California

Man don’t try to own a gun in California. They make it complicated. That's exactly their goal. The hope is by catching up gun owners in the insane patchwork of laws and growing list of onerous gun and ammunition restrictions, the average gun owner will be dissuaded from wanting to own guns. Of cour...

Re: AR Barrel Replacement

I've been doing a fair amount of reading on the reaction rod / bev block versus the receiver block. There have been more than a few complaints about folks shearing off index pins from their barrels while using the reaction rod. I've settled on a receiver block for myself plus they are cheaper.

Interested. What is the total length with the flash can installed? I just picked up an 8" hand guard so trying to figure out if this would work.

That is pretty incredible. I was floored when I was researching Form 1 eFiles last night and saw the wait times. Thanks for sharing.

Re: New ATF Form 1 Help

I've been looking at doing an SBR build myself and was just reading about the Form 1 eFiles. Are these times you folks are seeing for individuals or for trusts?

Re: Academy Stores Out of Stock on PMAG's

I haven't seen many in my local Academy. There is a definite run on magazines from the folks in CA getting what is probably a temporary reprieve of their standard capacity mag ban.

So, does that make the FN 5.7 "less than lethal", by the NYT's standards? :biggrinjester:
And .223 just tickles since it's so small.

Re: Need a car? (Houston)

That's an awesome gesture. I wouldn't mind a project car to work on and improve my mechanical skills but I certainly don't need it and it seems we have someone here who might.

If that doesn't work out, maybe we can talk.

Re: Electricity Providers

Power to choose has become a little onerous to use because companies are gaming it to make them look the cheapest at 1000 kWh a month but they may be very expensive at 999 or 1,001. I've been hearing good things about Griddy so I was going to give them a look when my contract expires. Energy Ogre lo...

How old is it? Or more specifically, have any idea on number of hours on it?

With the auto flow feature I'm assuming you don't have to run the media through a separator to get your brass?

Who did you talk to at Hodgdon about putting on the class? How advanced was it? It might be nice to have them do a class at PSC. We have about 4000 members so we probably would have a big crowd.
I'd certainly be interested in taking it.

Midway ditched theirs about 6 years ago. Looks like Brownells might still which I did not know. I'll need to give them a call.
