Thank goodness someone else is buying this!
I've been anxiously watching to see if your Marlin sells. I've been setting aside money as I can and thinking of selling an AR to raise the rest of the cash.

Re: The Much-Maligned, Under-powered 30 U.S. Carbine

You can pick up an Auto Ordnance/Kahr version for a reasonable price if the surplus are too expensive. This is true, and I may eventually go that route. I have a CMP M-1 so I was hoping to find a milsurp M-1 Carbine to go with it but I'm afraid that time has probably past for what I'm willing to pa...

It’s still on my dream firearm list.
Same here. Shame they are so expensive now.

Re: GA: Athens Body camera video released

Sure but as far as the officer could tell, he no longer had one in his hands (and he didn't). I don't fault Officer #1 for not shooting a second time. Perhaps this video showed why retreating extensively is a bad thing. Control of the situation deteriorated into a wrestling match and two different s...

Re: GA: Athens Body camera video released

Although the BG didn't get the pistol, he could have stabbed the officer if he still had the knife in his possession (I'm not sure if he still had it or not). He did not still have it. On Officer #2's bodycam, you can see Officer #1 looking down at the knife on the ground after shooting the suspect...

I'm going to go out on a limb here. This isn't a good guy.
You're not very far out and the limb you're on is quite sturdy.
I guess 5 years of retrospection was enough to confirm this statement eh?

Re: Bond Arms advertised on radio today

The Bullpup is an interesting gun and I shot it well when I had the chance to try it. The compact design makes it easier to conceal and being steel, it soaked up what recoil there was from 9mm with ease. It is a bit picky with ammo. The gun was originally designed and built by Boberg. Bond Arms boug...

Re: 2 New Guns: a Ruger PC9 carbine, and a Mossberg 930 SPX

Yes, I bought it thinking I'd find a use for it. It happens. I have shot a 9mm carbine before, a friend's semi-auto Sterling and I think that set the expectation for them. That thing was fun to shoot. And if I had $900 stuffed in a mattress, I'd take that JM off your hands. I"m sure I will regret no...

Re: 2 New Guns: a Ruger PC9 carbine, and a Mossberg 930 SPX

A mini-review I posted on another forum after running a few hundred rounds through it: Finally got the chance to put a couple hundred rounds through my Ruger PCC and the overall feeling is just....meh. It functioned fine, seemed plenty accurate and wasn't uncomfortable to shoot or anything but I jus...

Outstanding read. I had known parts of how bad the ATF was prior to FOPA but did not have a good understanding of just how bad it was. Thank you for sharing. :tiphat:

Anything that holds the wannabe Napoleon's feet to the fire for the stuff he pulls is a good thing. He needs to learn a lesson on who he is supposed to be working for.
