Re: The real Lord of the Flies: what happened when six boys were shipwrecked for 15 months

I also had to read "The Pearl" and then write what my take away was about the story! Soooo in my youthful enthusiasm I wrote that the shot taken at the end of the story was ballistically impossible! Teacher informed me that wasn't what she was wanting (she was typical liberal) and yes, I was baitin...

Re: Is this legal open carry?

Shoot Point Blank stores tell their employees that they may carry a firearm, but that if they do, it must be open-carried IWB , shirt tucked in. All shirts must be tucked in anyway. I doubt that they’d be knowingly telling their employees to break the law. And since, among other services they offer...

Re: Ethanol free

However, I am switching over to battery powered equipment for a lot of things like blowers and string trimmers. Same here. I got a deal on a used Ego mower and it runs like a scalded cat. My Husqvarna trimmer will also be replaced by an Ego eventually. The mower has been great and battery compatibi...

Just don't pigeonhole yourself to be an arm's length shooter.

:tiphat:

I meant for sighting in a smaller defensive pistol. I'd rather be dead on at 7-10 yards.

I shoot 15-25 yards with my Shield routinely.

Re: Springfield hellcat POI is off

If you can, try shooting with arms supported and seating. That'll help you figure out if it's you or the sights.

That said, if I were going to buy a NEW Glock, I’d give both the 19x and the 45 a really hard look. And you can get 15 round mags that flush fit the single stack 45.
TAM, the 45 isn't a single stack, it's a double stack 17 frame. Are you thinking of the 43X/48?
