This is true, and I may eventually go that route. I have a CMP M-1 so I was hoping to find a milsurp M-1 Carbine to go with it but I'm afraid that time has probably past for what I'm willing to pay. As much as I love surplus rifles, they're getting very expensive and it's hard to justify putting the money into them when there are so many other offerings these days.
