My company is looking for someone who can help us improve the database side of our application. We don't have the job description written up yet, so I'm winging it, since my boss just said "If you know someone, send them my way".

What we're looking for is someone who is strong in SQL Server who can do things like debug problems with permissions/setup, tune performance of the database and/or scripts (stored procs, user functions, etc) that we have created for our database, maybe resolve some network issues, give us advice on the effects on the database when we do this, that, or the other to it.

We are looking for someone fulltime.

The position would be supporting an application that we market (ie, not for supporting an internal database).

ETA: This is a telecommuting position. One requirement will be that you have access to high speed internet.
