Re: TX: Houston couple tied up and murdered by robbers

A couple of years ago we had drug dealers in a rent house across the street. We had security cameras before they moved in and one night the man came across the street and threatened me because of them. Well, it was because of the camera's I was able to document the hundreds of cars and individuals t...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

To any and all of you who are bothered by President Trump’s lack of decorum, political ineptitude and brashness, dismissing him and his actions as “un-Presidential” I think you are ignoring the precipice that this country is on the brink of going over to the destruction of the country. You think Tr...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

I think Trump is an absolute blessing to our country. Our country could not have survived the current decade without him. I don't care about being Politically Correct. Tell it like it is: the truth hurts, don't pull punches. This is something that hasn't been done since Reagan. The Leftist news medi...

Re: Once again, unarmed does not equate to harmless

Age may not be recognized in print, but it is recognized in practice with prosecutors and jurors. IMO, there are a thousand different things that can make a confrontation unequal. The law can't cover them all and probably shouldn't. Texas law does give some exception to those over 65 in an aggravat...

Re: Gun Buster Signs

Allow me to explain my logic please. It really makes the beauty of the 30.06/07 law more clear and something to be thankful for. I have been saying all along that the 30.06/30.07 sign in Texas is a blessing for us and we need not be bad mouthing it. Criminal Trespass is a violation of the law under...

Re: Pulled over for speeding - you won't believe what happened next!

Every experience I’ve had with Texas State Troopers have been positive. I’m glad yours was as well Me too except maybe for troopers at the drivers license office. Many times assignments like the License Office are punishment jobs. I know this from an negative encounter with a Sargent and the subseq...

Re: Oregon Governor signs bill effectively confiscating guns

This is a very challenging topic. We keep saying that it's not the gun but it's the person that does the harm with the guns. So, quit blaming the guns and focus on the people that are troubled and may do something to harm themselves or someone else with a gun. If we are going to keep placing the re...

Re: Driving to California, what gun to bring along?

I'd go and buy me a cheap 9mm pocket gun <10 round magazine and use my lockbox.

I'd carry in every other state except California and lock it up in California. If something happens to us, I'll (or my heirs) sue the state for failing to provide me with a way to defend ourselves.

... f you want to travel, make sure you know them. If you don't want to take the time to learn the restrictions, then you probably shouldn't be carrying. Oh, I do agree, but I was attempting to help out the OP in this thread. Now that my daughter has moved back to Texas from Komiefornia, I really h...

Re: "Gun-Buster" Sign Legal?

A sign I have not seen before. About 6x9", gun buster, with no firearms, and both English and Spanish 30.06 wording. If made bigger it would have met standard. The irony is it was at a gas station in Buda on I-35, and right inside the door is a spinning rack full of 2nd amendment stickers, one...
