Re: Slow Death
I use a VPN. Regularly, I cannot log onto this forum because of it, even after I turn it off. I have gotten a "forbidden" message. Perhaps others are having the same problem and it is limiting the participation.

Re: National constitutional carry bill proposed
And, in my view, it should never happen. I much prefer the Supreme Court striking down the State laws the infringe the 2nd Amendment to giving the Federal government any more regulation power in this area. I don't know how yet but trust that the gun grabbers will turn something positive into a gross ...

There are videos of the National Guard (in reflective vests so they stand out from Federal agents) handing out donuts and coffee to protestors

Re: No Check, No Sale Bill
Even if they get this passed and got signed into law (I cannot imagine 47 signing it), it SHOULD be struck down by the Supreme Court. It imposes an easy restriction on purchases. All the background check has to do is slow walk requests. I couldn't process my car registration online because the Texas ...

Re: MIT professor shot, killed at his home in Boston suburbs
Since it appears that the MIT was a direct, personal target, the open question is about the Brown students. Where they just random targets or did the shooter of a personal connection there, too?

Re: Giffords: National Reciprocity a ‘Dangerous Bill’ Pushed by ‘Extremists’
While I really like the idea of National Reciprocity, the practical side of me thing\ks that all of this discussion on legislation is irrelevant. We already of FOPA and the Blue States willingly ignore it. Think I'm wrong? I dare you to get stopped in New Jersey with a handgun in your car ...

Re: California bans Glocks
Really? Ban just Glocks? What reason, a public emergency? All murders in CA with just Glocks? Extra scary looking?
Never attempt to apply logic and reason to the actions of those who are going to save humanity from itself. Theirs is a greater cause than common sense - if the rest of us could ...

Re: Weird signage
I'm pretty sure that the sign tat you saw in PT was the same as the one that Whole Foods used for several years. Suddenly on my last stop there (an Amazon return, I would never shop in that store) they had a valid 30.06 sign and nothing else. I'm sure that you wouldn't get two feet inside the door ...

Re: State Fair of Texas 2025
East Texas State Fair handled it with LEO's and LTC's going to the side and showing a uniformed officer their credentials. Everybody else walked through the upright post-style metal detectors. Seemed to work well.
But that's just common sense.
My guess is that the people running the East Texas ...

A: "No ma'am, big liberty and freedom guy."
My reply, because the question came completely out of the blue and we near each other for just a couple of seconds was "Yes, m'am." Yours is a much better answer but I had even forgotten that I had a NRA logo visible and ...

Re: Being a gun owner in New York
For me, these stories are less about guns and more about the permissive atmosphere in the Empire State regarding anti-social and criminal behavior. It wold not surprise me to learn that the teenagers targeted the car for harassment BECAUSE of the NRA sticker. And it isn't just there.
