Re: When will the Gov. sign Constitutional Carry

Understood. Thank you for the answers. I have been trying to get clear information so far it’s been like reading through mud. We al thought it would not get this far. Hopefully it keeps chugging forward over the finish line This is part of the game that is played by our elected officials to try to ...

Re: FL: Domestic violence injunction fails, woman with gun does not

Once again an "equalizer" changes an outcome for a weaker person. The gun grabbing alternative would be for the woman to be dead.

Re: Are you prepared for this?

Never let them get that close. If I'm in a drive thru, I'm leaving before the get within 2 feet of my window. If I'm trapped (by a one-lane drive thru) then my gun is out before they hit the window. I'd guess that this was on the order of a Tueller drill. With the BGs coming out of the darkness and...

Re: How the Populist Right Can Win the New Class War

The problem is the "band together" part. I would offer up Jordan Peterson as an example of the sacrificial lamb against the woke establishment. It isn't brought out as clearly as it could be in Peterson's interview with Tucker Carlson for Fox Nation as it could be but Peterson said publicl...

Re: Are you prepared for this?

I'm in bed at 3:30 AM. Maybe the guy that got car jacked works a night shift. Back in my younger days I worked in a union job at DFW airport. Shifts are by seniority. I was stuck on a grave yard shift for 3 years. My lunch break was from 3-4 am. I saw some real weird stuff while getting food at tha...

Interaction with Police

I've hesitated to post this, given today's environment. I decided to try with the limitation that the discussion centers on this question: Is an ordinary citizen at greater risk of a violent confrontation with police now that say 5 years ago? The genesis of the question was a discussion, sometimes h...

Re: Senate Special Committee on Constitutional Issues (Constitutional Carry hearings)

That is specifically what I have told people NOT to do. Don't let your emotions get the better of you, and don't let your message get lost in your passion. Passion has it's place, but should always be tempered by reason. Unfortunately for this woman, she will be remembered for her outburst and not ...

Re: USA: Two tier system of Justice

On Tucker Carlson tonight, he said, when Rudy told the FBI that the hard drive they were holding contained a copy of the Hunter Xiden laptop, they put it down and didn’t take it with them. He said they were also looking for information on John Solomon a Fox News contributor. I wonder how long Tucke...

Re: Distressed about lack of Constitutional Carry Support (Long)

So your alright with this same person that just failed their chl class and being denied a license to constitutionally carry in Texas? :headscratch So basically the incompetents will be able to legally carry in Texas without a license but if they want to travel to another state they will need to pas...

Re: Supreme Court Grants Cert in Second Amendment Concealed Carry Case

<SNIP>This case could be good for us if it goes against NY. It will be terrible if it doesn't . I disagree with this part of your post. If the case goes against us, then I believe it will just be current status quo. States will be able to choose how stringent they are on issuing LTC (or the equival...

Re: Oscars Ratings Crash 58% YoY To Record Lows

The Oscars have become an exercise in the insipid. It is a group of self=aggrandizing 1 percenters, patting themselves on the back over their work that no one saw. Most of the nominees for awards have very little market penetration. They produce enough other films that do make money but are 3rd rate...

Re: Distressed about lack of Constitutional Carry Support (Long)

There will always be those who do none of these things, whether they are LTC holders or not. But there are also a lot of people who vote without doing any research into the candidates. People who exercise their right of free speech to espouse things that are abhorrent to decent people. My point is,...

Re: Supreme Court Grants Cert in Second Amendment Concealed Carry Case

Is this before or after court packing? I believe that the court packing bill was a trial balloon. I also believe that the Washington Democrats are poll-driven to a fault. They do things, watch the polls and then decide to proceed - or not. I'm guessing that the polls did not come out well initially...

Re: Supreme Court Grants Cert in Second Amendment Concealed Carry Case

My name is Thomas. I have zero faith in SCOTUS doing the right thing in protecting the 2nd Amendment outside of the home. I will humbly and publicly apologize to the Court if i turn out to be wrong. The odds are in my favor, however.
