The writer suggests that Trudeau’s heavy-handed approach to citizen control was a big mistake. He alerted the public to the power of the bankers, and the bankers didn’t like that one bit.
I heard a different version. While it is, perhaps too far down the conspiracy theory road for some, here it is. The Elites want to drive all of us peons world-wide to digital ID. That way, they can cancel any of us or big masses of us at once and we won't be able to live. The idea was to force vaccine mandates and then vaccine passports. It is a very short step from a vaccine passport to a completely digital ID. Trudeau's overreach undermined that and they were quick to stomp on him for it. The reaction of the Canadians to withdrawing their funds is exactly what the Elites didn't want. With the waning reasons for the vaccines, their digital ID hopes are diminishing. Bill Gates is already predicting a new pandemic. No, I don't have sources for that. Most of it is "not allowed" speech and Big Tech surely isn't going to allow it to spread.

We should all get together and upload a zillion copies of those videos to YouTube.
I don't think it would help. He is clearly going to make permanent his dictatorial powers. The sad part is that the Canadian Parliament i soing along with it. What is left, based on the fact that he has claimed ownership over all money is for every Canadian citizen to withdraw a significant mount of their money from the Canadian banks. If ever there were a case for crypto currency, Canada right now is it.

Maybe for hurricanes / winter freezes instead of earthquakes.
Cash is good. But if it gets really bad, gold and silver. Really really bad I think 9mm ammunition, 12 ga will give good value.
If you go back and listen to some of the documentaries of Sarajevo during the conflict, the major "currency" was bullets. The problem here today is getting your hands on enough quantity to make trading it viable. I worry about having enough to hold off the hoards that would want to steal it in a a problem arises scenario.

This is a little off topic but I think that you will smile at the result. Canada requires owners of air brake equipped RVs to take a two day class on air brake systems before they can drive their vehicles. In the ultimate irony, the class is taught on dump truck systems which don't have automatic adjusters. Today's modern air brake systems have automatic adjusters which drivers are prohibited from adjusting. In Texas, I don't have to have any special license to drive my air brake equipped RV because it is under 26,000. I was on an RV forum with a Canadian who berated me as an unsafe driver. Then he found out, that because of reciprocity in driver's licenses, I could bring MY RV and drive it on HIS street in Canada with my regular license. I told him that I would love to drive by his house and could legally do so. Guns aren't the only thing that Canada gets wrong.
