Another thing to consider is, that the counties where you are employed are also checked, the same as one's residence. If you have worked in several counties the background checks are completed only as fast as the slowest county.Keith B wrote:DPS has 60 days to process. They submit to your county, city, etc. So, if you have lived in multiple locations over the past 5 years, it may take longer. If one of the local agencies is slow in processing the background inquiries, then you are delayed.
