I have an update on the Kemah Wal-Mart ammo issue. Went to the Kemah Wal-Mart last night. Asked for Winchester .45 ammo. Got the exact same box (with 5 Winchesters and 95 reloads) that they tried to sell me last time. :x Guess they don't care? Talk about lawsuits if that ammo is bad! No telling what...

If I'm feeling well armed I've got my USP45f in a fobus paddle holster, with 2 spare magazines, a surefire e2e... and my AR-15 with a couple mags in my trunk. But more of the time I've got my SIG p232 in a fobus paddle holster with 2 spare mags. Preferrably with surefire e2e, folding knife, and CS s...

I'm no expert, but not sure that's such a good idea. If the device does work, and OC gets sprayed when a criminal trips it, the criminal may still be able to trash your place even if they give up on robbing it. Then there's the issue of all the OC in your living space. Kinda nasty to clean it out. M...

I generally bring 150 rds of ammo. But it can depend on the club and course of fire for that day. You'll also want 3 to 6 magazines (or a similar number of speedloaders for a revolver) Then there is the holster and magazine/speeloader carrier. The IDPA manual has a list of accepted ones. If you don'...

There was a similar discussion about Wal-Mart's policy over on ar15.com a while back. Basically Wal-Mart has a silly corporate policy about walking out firearms that is not enforced everywhere. And another one selling guns with ammo (even if the ammo can't be used in the gun  ) Apparently they...

Personnally the only thing I would say to the police after a self-defense shooting would be "I need to speak to my lawyer" Repeat until you've got your lawyer. I guarantee you your words WILL be used against you in court. I've seen 2 criminal trials and both criminals did themselves in mak...

Ah, there it is. That's a shame though, because I think butterfly knives just as normal as pocket knives, only easier to open. That and the badguys don't play by the rules. I've never owned an automatic knife or butterfly knife, but I've lived in Texas a lot of years and seen a whole lot of auto op...

I've seen the Steyr but haven't had the chance to shoot one yet. I'm curious about what you like about it and what makes it different/better?
