Re: Remington - new double stack 1911

Fair question. I don't have any insight into the magazine compatibility. If they value the legacy customers the magazines should be compatible, but then again the whole debacle with Marlin QC calls into question how much they value legacy customers.

Re: Remington - new double stack 1911

Since Remington bought Para Ord a few years back and since they both make 1911s, it is really no surprise that Remington is (finally) releasing a double-stack with their name on it. Their intent, as I understand it, is to rebrand all Para Ord guns as Remingtons.

Re: The Art of the Russian Mall Ninja

Wow! I have to question the ninja bona fides, though. One of the first rules for a ninja is to be silent and undetected -- he committed a miserable fail on that one. Perhaps seppuku is in order, or then again maybe this video is his form of seppuku.

These youth coming to town don't scare me nearly as much as the prospect of them procreating to make their particular brand of madness multi-generational.

Re: If Cops Won't, then Give Me a Chance

Whether we like it nor not, and whether we choose to accept it or not, in a moment of absolute need only we who are in that moment can be effective first responders, and only we who are in that moment have a reasonable chance to alter events in our favor.

Re: Steve Pinkerton Attacks Christian Self Defenders

OLJAMES3, I believe that I understand where you are coming from. Words do indeed have meanings. I could be giving the writer more credit than he deserves and he could indeed be attacking those who'd defend themselves. On the other hand, my perception of vigilantism is perhaps nuanced to recognize th...

Re: Chinese firm develops a hand held laser gun

"Non-Lethal" fiber laser, and they talk about one they are developing to be lethal and the intense pain such a device would produce before/while killing. They don't mention anywhere that such non-lethal tools are beyond a doubt extremely damaging to someone's eyes. Non-lethal, perhaps, but still abl...

Re: Steve Pinkerton Attacks Christian Self Defenders

I too don't see an attack on Christian Self-defenders in the article. It seems fairly well balanced to me other than couching self-defense -- or in the case of preachers defense of self and their flocks -- as vigilante justice in the theme of Hollywood movies. Art imitates and sometimes helps inform...

Re: Where Is L.E. When Antifa Shows UP?

Patterns help us infer some things... Police show up at conservative themed events, but are not in evidence (at least initially) at Progressive themed events. Police chiefs, Mayors and other senior leadership of major cities are typically Democrat/Progressives. It is not illegal to hold a rally, reg...

Buy bulk 5.56MM at around $300/1000 (brass-cased, reloadable 55gn FMJ) to your door. Look for buying opportunities with free or low cost max shipping charges and factor that in to the overall cost. You shouldn't have to look to far or long for a deal at $300/100 rounds. You can sometimes find deals ...

Re: The tolerant Left at it again

Anybody or any group that supports or engages in thuggish behavior against their fellow man is willfully taking off the yoke of civilization -- a yoke most of us see great benefit in. These Antifa types are very dangerous, not necessarily as individuals (though some undoubtedly are), particularly si...

Re: What Is The No. 1 Reason For Such Hatred?

Trump isn't beholden to the Globalist cabal. He therefore represents, at best from their perspective, a delay of at least several years in implementing their plans. At worst, he represents a setback of decades to them.

Re: It Is Terrible To Be A Liberal In 2018 – Which Is Awesome

The Progressives had eight years to swing the pendulum toward ever bigger more intrusive Government, Globalism and other failed policies of the Left. Now they see a repudiation of those policies (even though I am nowhere close to satisfied that our new direction is truly a small, fiscally responsibl...
