Re: Arizona Non-Resident CHL - Has anyone done this?

Dropped the paperwork for an AZ permit in the mail on May 12, received my permit in the mail on June 10. To further emphasize the quickness of the process, it was postmarked June 5.

Beretta 92FS resto - 3rd gen parts?

Friend gave me a 92FS lower...lacked the slide, barrel, locking block, guide rod, recoil spring. Picked up a complete slide from RTG for 90 + ship, scored a threaded barrel from the local classifieds for 100. Looked at the usual suspects for the small parts, Midwest Gun Works has a 3rd Gen 4pc kit w...

Re: Arizona Non-Resident CHL - Has anyone done this?

I'm a Texas resident, have a Utah permit in place of the Texas ripoff. What are the chances that AZ will accept a Utah non-res permit as proof of "training"?

Re: Utah Problem - SOLVED

Both options are in the IRS Code, so that's not a loophole. You're going to have to try harder to make yet another snide comment. It will probably be your last, by the way. Chas. The so-called "loophole in the Texas CHL law" is also an option, at least for now, it's comparable to the &quo...

Re: Utah Problem - SOLVED

Please. I'm a businessman. With all due respect, those instructors in question were not "good businessmen." They were the same kind of parasite as ambulance chasing attorneys. You can call that "good business" if you want. I call it exploiting loopholes in the law to get CHLs fo...

Re: Utah Problem - SOLVED

The whole CHL idea itself should be dispensed with; it is tolerable only in that it represents a step forward from where we used to be. It is not a desireable endstate. Any adult of the US who does not have a feloniously violent criminal history or is not certifiably looney should be able to defend...

MoJo - Eagle in Vidor?

MoJo, or anyone else in SE TX, have you seen the eagle on Hwy 105? Guys at work mentioned it is nesting on the side of the road, traffic is kinda iffy and parking might be also. Anyone been there, we're gonna head out there and check it out. Gettin' chills and a lump in my throat just thinkin' about...

Sure got a lot of naysayers in here... All it takes is one good deal and the show at Reliant is the biggest in this area. Parking was NOT $10, it was $8. NRA table was at the door, join for $25 and get in the show for free. Included a free ballcap of your choice also. Two jerky stands amid a zillion...

Thanks! Hey, can ya suggest what forum to check out to help me decide on a carry pistol (pros/cons)? Like I said above, this Beretta is a lil heavy. Ain't sayin' I won't go with it but it's gonna take a lot more practice.
