He called this session specifically to tell the Anti- Women's Health crowd that trying to push around the Texas Legislature by screaming is not "democracy" as they claim and a vote on the issue will be allowed to take place. Personally, I would have cited Wendy Davis and Van de Putte and a few others in some way, if possible, for egging them on. I can respect, not like, but respect a filibuster, but screaming in the hall, no and being cheered on by the legs, absolutely not....and Perry couldn't allow them to get away with it.

the problem is the work has to get done, if he puts both of those items on the call right away, nothing will get done, if he waits and adds a gun item later after something is actually done, then it might actually get done. make sense?

he's not going to add anything extra controversial yet, he can't...otherwise they'll take up the "easy stuff", then he'll just get the same crap from the left that happened the other night again, this way hopefully they'll have to work...well maybe?

I don't know...they just said that transportation funding hasn't been addressed either, so it could happen
