Re: Dicks destroys $5 million worth of weapons

I think it is refreshing that someone is actually standing up for what they believe in. Even if it isn't popular or fiscally responsible why are people so butt hurt here about it? If more people thought less about money and more about their convictions we would probably be better off. Our beliefs he...

Re: AR15 Build from 80% lower

This. I've invested over $600 in tooling. 80% Arms Easy Jig Gen 2, Rigid trim router, end mills, drill bits, Cerakote setup. Plus AR tools, blocks, pin punches, etc. And of course some lowers. Then even more money when you end up going down NFA rabbit hole. Was worth every penny to me. Please tell ...

Re: AR15 Build from 80% lower

In sure it can be done with a drill and router plus jig.

However, using any kind of mill would be better. I did mine on a mill manually, using cad drawings for the dimensions. I was lucky to have access to a legit mill for free, so it didn't cost me anything but time.

I have 3 Magazines that work perfectly in my AK, except. I bought a reverse dong Romanian handgrip for my underfolder and these mags are to long and have to much curve to be able to work. Looking for 3 30rd AK mags to trade. Preferably in Austin. Mags are same as these https://gunmagwarehouse.com/ar...

Re: Potential Move to Austin

So here are some of your options. East - South east is going to be your best bet from a traffic and affordability perspective. It will have good new home options with decent land. However the food and school options are still slowly catching up with the growth. South is pretty heavy with traffic but...

Re: Potential Move to Austin

So I live downtown and work in the domain.

It is and isn't as bad as everyone says or thinks.

Can you tell me where the new office would be located and what is on your list of things you like and don't like.

Traffic
Food
Commute time
Walkability
Kids
Etc etc

My wife would be into this if it weren't quite so serious.

Does anyone know of something similar but more low key?
