Glock 19 Gen 5 COA

I am a Glock guy, I always shoot irons only and and am perfectly happy with that. None of my Glocks have optics cuts. However, I was interested in getting the Glock 19 gen 5 mainly due to the smooth grip. Then I learned of the Glock 19 Gen 5 COA with the Aimpoint COA optics/cut. It seemed ...

Re: WW2 Museum New Orleans Concealed Carry

I would have objected to them recording my name or saving any information about me carrying. They’ve seen my license. That should be enough.

I agree, but I am sure I am already on what ever list an LTC or 4473 gets you on anyway. If you're not on a list already you aren't trying hard enough ...

WW2 Museum New Orleans Concealed Carry

I visited the WW2 Museum in New Orleans, LA for the first time and was pleasantly surprised that you could conceal carry with TX LTC!

I walked in the red light on the metal detector went off, the gal at the security desk waived me over. She asked if I had knives or guns! :coolgleamA: I said "Of ...

Re: Seattle waterfront shooting

My IANAL legal analysis is this:

The fact that the wheel chair guy was infact a veteran and the gun he tried to pull out was an airsoft gun are irrelevant.

This initial aggressor steels a patch from the wheel chair guy and walks away. Not a smart move.

The wheel chair guy follows the aggressor ...

Bayou Rifles vs PSC Shooting Club

Are there anyone out there that are or have been a member of both Bayou Rifles and PSC Shooting Club?

I am a member of Bayou Rifles but I am also interested in PSC Shooting club and was looking for a fair comparison.

Sugar Land FFL

My old kitchen table FFL is no longer taking FFL transfers and I have been looking for a reliable FFL in my area for quite sometime with relatively reasonable Operating Hours and Transfer Fees. I just recently found Riverstone Arms in Sugar Land, they are a Brick and Mortar Gun store that also does ...

Re: Some peoples reloading math is retarded

At the urging of a friend at work who is an experienced reloader ( I still think reloaders are a bit "touched", likely at least on "the spectrum" to some degree) I am going to try my hand at reloading, primarily for Long Range Precision Rifle purposes. I am still going to rely solely on factory ammo ...

Re: Any rifle reloading people would would give me an hour?

YouTube is your friend.

I too never intended on getting into reloading. However I decided I want to pursue long range precision rifle shooting so I am trying learn beyond the basics to see if this is a rabbit hole I really want to go down.

I have a specific goal in mind, using what I have before ...

Lee Precision 223 Remington Ultimate Rifle Die Set (4 Die) vs 223 Breech Lock 3-Die Set

I am trying to determine if the Lee Collect Die for neck sizing only (included in Lee Precision 223 Remington Ultimate Rifle Die Set) is of much value for reloading purposes for magazine fed semiautomatic rifles ...

Re: If you want to buy a gun, this is the best time for it

Right now I have $250 in Bass Pro rewards that need to be spent. I am in a good place both the ammo and guns. However, I am indecisive on whether or not to get a Savage Stevens 320 Field/Security combo 12 Gauge because its a good deal or just get ammo?

Completely a nice to have purchase either way ...

Re: Truck Guns!

I also once drove past a small group protesters on I-59 while driving through Houston. As traffic slowed to a crawl and then a stop I was expecting the worst. Fortunately they were not blocking the road and it turned out to be a non-threatening roadside oddity. However, although armed with my EDC ...
