I am holding out to see them in Huntsville during visitation hours.

I was confused because I thought TDCJ closed down Central Unit in 2011.

Here's a chance for the "class action lawsuit" crowd to put their money where their mouth is. :evil2:

Apparently DACA are allowed to carry pistols in vehicles in California because undocumented trumps unregistered.

Re: Alligator defense question

This is why claiming to shoot a gator in self defense is pretty laughable. Pretty much my thought. The first time I did this, I carried my .45, hoping I could get a head shot if necessary. But over time I quit bothering to carry. :nono: There are still plenty of reasons to carry, although most of t...

Re: BATFE: Bump-Stock-Type Devices: Notice of proposed rulemaking

Now, you've got "our guy", Trump, doing something administratively that even Obama didn't think he had the legal authority to do. It's going to set a horrible precedent if it stands. This may cost Trump votes in 2020, not necessarily votes that go to his opponents but aren’t cast at all. There's us...

Re: CA: Rep suggests forceful confiscation with nukes

Legislators and enforcers ought to be very careful when doing their calculations, because for the little people like me, the first one of them may be very expensive but the rest are free. :tiphat:

Re: OK GOP. You win

The republicans voted at least six times to repeal Obamacare back when they knew it wouldn't pass. Then when they actually could pass it, they fumble. Looking at how each one voted before and then didn't do anything when they could get results should be very revealing. http://www.washingtonexaminer...

Re: Patriot Dawn: The Resistance Rises

Thanks for the feedback. In return, I'll recommend a book I'm reading again because of current events. Forging the Hero by John Mosby, aka Mountain Guerrilla The book is more intellectual than tactical, although the author writes like he probably speaks, and there's no shortage of four letter words....

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

I'm voting for Cruz but I'm not sure it really matters in the long run. When the Democrats were in charge, the country was cruising along at 60 mph toward a third world socialist-hole. If Bernie had been elected President, the speed might have increased a little or a lot. When Trump was elected, th...

Patriot Dawn: The Resistance Rises

Has anybody read Patriot Dawn: The Resistance Rises by Max Alexander? What are your thoughts? I gather from online reviews it's a mashup of a TEOTWAWKI novel and a prepping manual. There are many glowing reviews written by the author's followers. I don't see many from readers who had no prior opinio...

Re: ANTHONY KENNEDY IS RETIRING!

We can still all agree that no matter what the outcome of the fbi investigation is, there is still a crowd that will claim he’s guilty. Hell if ford came out and said that the whole thing was a farce, there would still be a crowd claiming he’s guilty. You simply cannot fix stupid. You can, but it's...
