I would make a terrible President, but to me this is the perfect time to Moab the .... out of their underground nuclear facilities and kill all their physicists.

Problem solved.
Me too. I would sink every boat they have, bomb every military installation and revolutionary guard location. Along with their nuke sites.

I do not want to see boots on the ground.
I do not want to see boots on the ground in the Mideast. I do want to see boots on the ground defending the nation's borders from the ongoing invasion. Otherwise, what's the point of having a Department of Defense?

Make America Great Again... and sometime before the election is best, if Trump and Republicans want to be reelected.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

With little more than a day left before funding expires for key parts of the federal government, the Senate voted on Thursday to approve a spending deal intended to avert a shutdown, paving the way for the House to take up the legislation later Thursday night.

The vote was 83 to 16. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in a news conference earlier Thursday that the House may now vote earlier than planned as early as the 6 p.m. ET hour.

Lawmakers are racing the clock to get a bill to the President's desk ahead of a midnight Friday funding deadline. The White House said Thursday that President Donald Trump will sign the legislation, which does not meet his demand for $5.7 billion in border wall funding, but that the President also plans to invoke a national emergency.

With all the money spent on the Department of Defense, it's a disgrace we're incapable of the minimum baseline defensive task of securing the nation's borders. That's an "Epic Fail" by politicians and the military brass hats.

The results of the recent Houston and Harris County elections would be very different. I think it may be time to move.
That's a good idea. Living in a large urban areas in Texas is lingchi. That's not going to change in our lifetimes without some cataclysmic event. I worry rural areas aren't far behind if state level politics continues on this path, but I'm not willing to give up that fight. However, sometimes I think I'm just kidding myself that Texans can stem the socialist tide in our state, vener mind national politics.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Should I expect to see more SJW wearing team jerseys as a political statement against Trump?

Or is it still primarily a way for herd animals to self identify their herd affiliation?

If a law or government program is not Constitutional, let's get rid of it. That's real reform.

What the Republicans are doing with Obamacare and entitlements is rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

he/she is entitled to full treatment, prescriptions, or any other medical/ psychological care, and will not be subjected to any costs associated with these.
The providers who want to practice in this country will be bound by law to accept these terms or they will lose their license to practice. If they try to jack up prices above what is the normal costs, they will never be able to practice in this country again, and will face Federal jail time.
That's not freedom. That's not capitalism. That's not Constitutional.

Jusme wrote: Yeah I doubt that was all that was discussed. Trump has been very vocal during the campaign, as well as since taking office, about fixing the VA issues, so I'm sure there were much more important issues addressed.
I have a very simple solution to the VA issues. Once someone is honorably discharged, they are issued a card like a credit card. It will have the soldier's name and serial number on it. It will say something to the effect of.
Dear Doctor, hospital, clinic, pharmacy, or any other health care provider: the bearer of this card, is an American hero, he/she is entitled to full treatment, prescriptions, or any other medical/ psychological care, and will not be subjected to any costs associated with these.

Anyone have an issue with this suggestion?
It sounds like a plan straight out of the Soviet Union.
