Hanoi Jane is playing Nancy Reagan

Jane Fonda is playing Nancy Reagan in the movie “The Butler”. What a slap in the face to a classy, patriotic woman, to be portrayed by a murderous traitor. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/08/22/in-life-youve-got-to-stand-for-something-vet-refuses-to-show-the-butler-at-his-movie-theater/" onclic...

Re: Shoe shining

Kiwi shoe polish does in fact turn purple and melt off your boots when you are standing for 3 or more hours waiting on POTUS in 100+ degree heat.
Been there.

Re: This happened in a dream...

My friend once returned home frome a road trip to Mexico. When he was cleaning out his car, he found 12 gage 00 Buck shells under the passenger seat. He promptly thanked God that he had found them instead of the Mexican soldiers that had searched his car at a checkpoint!

Re: So... anyone seen these guys rolling around town? (Dalla

JSThane, you stated the case much better than me. I agree that the MRAPs would be a lousy choice for 95% of the work that we do. They are too big and heavy to climb through the mountains, and too slow to catch vehicles on the highway. The only time in my career that we have used a similar vehicle wa...

Re: So... anyone seen these guys rolling around town? (Dalla

Talltex, yes we Border Patrol Agents are rough on vehicles. We use them to climb up and down mountains every day. I would like to see how well your pickup truck would hold up under the same type of use. I do not know any agents who are “jumping ditches and running over everything in sight.” The plac...

Re: IMAX fighter pilot - Red Flag

It’s been years since I saw “Fighter Pilot”. I don’t remember all the details, but I remember thinking that it was pretty accurate at the time. I spent 12 years working with chaff, flare, and other ordinance. I never did Red Flag, but my friends that went all had a positive experience with it. To an...

The polish in the orange bottle is Nu Finish (http://www.nufinish.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
I have yet to try Turtlewax, so I couldn't tell you which works better.

Re: Links for gun safe info in the works

The first time, it was the keypad that went bad. They are plastic and made in China. This time, the keypad still works, but the lock will not disengage. As soon as I can get it open, I am going to have a good quality mechanical lock installed and toss the cheap electronics in the garbage where they ...

Re: Links for gun safe info in the works

Does anyone have any experience with the Winchester line of gun safes? They are made by granite safes right here in Ft. Worth. I bought one about three years ago. The first time that it broke was about three months after I bought it. The locksmith pretty much destroyed it getting it open, and Grani...
