There are several reasons I'm glad I moved from Frisco in 2000. Traffic is at the top of the list. I remember when you could see the stars in the night sky in Frisco.

This is all very interesting. Sports Authority stopped selling handguns in New Jersey back on 1999, 2000 or so. The line I got was that they were taking all the handguns in all the stores in the country and shipping them off for sale in Alaska. Guess they missed a few stores, err, states. Sports Au...

That reminds me, I was planning a trip to Reno last Summer and the first thing I did in planning was look up the Ponderosa Ranch online. Seems it had very recently been closed. I can see where the producers of the show might think a cartridge belt was a little too aggressive. Not that I agree ...

Thanks for all the great comments and suggestions. I have to agree with most of them since you're thinking along the same lines as I was. At this point the friend is more concerned about her husbands safety than hers since he's been depressed. The handguns are community property and we'll keep them ...

Selling for a friend

I'd like to get your opinions and advice. My wife has a co-worker and friend who's husband fell of the wagon. She wanted to get the handguns out of the house so gave them to us for safekeeping. Then she told her husband she got rid of them. It turns out the husband spent the bill money instead of pa...

I had no idea shorts were so dangerous. What about other .22s? Do I need to get a .22 disposal team to take care of the boxes of .22LR in my closet? Will they fire spontaneously?

Sorry, all of my firearms were lost in a tragic boating accident...... I doubt that. The lakes around here don't have enough water for your firearms to be lost of even get your boat out there. I appreciate your view on the use of deadly force. You've made very thoughtful statements and...

Thanks for the welcome. GlockenHammer, I agree wholeheartedly with your comment. I've had people think I was nuts when they found out I enjoy shooting. Then as the discussion progresses, the subject of taking a life comes up. Often the most outspoken gun critics have no qualms about taking a life. I...

Howdy. I found your forum a couple of weeks ago and have enjoyed reading so much I decided to register even though I don't have a CHL and probably won't in the near future. I've thought about doing so since the beginning back in the mid 90's. I even laid out a deposit and bought a Taurus M85CH. I'm ...
