Re: If They Come for Your Guns, Do You Have a Responsibility

Out of respect for the priceless blood of patriots already deposited at the alter of our liberty, I would not hesitate to add my own mixed with the blood of those serving tyrants.

This is not a threat. This is an obligation secured by an oath that I took at 8:30 AM on November 5, 1961.

Re: We have met the enemy... and he is us

[quote="Dave2"]I wonder how far I could get with a petition authorizing proper, "R Lee Ermey"-level, drill instructors to follow people who sign random petitions around 24/7 and verbally abuse them until they figure it out? The mental picture your comment about "R Lee Ermey" getting in the faces of ...

Re: Harry Reid is prepping the anti's next salvo

As I recall the notion of infringing upon the gun powder supply worked out real well for King George when he tried it back on April 19th, 1775.

Re: Is HB 3218 Dead ?

General Benedict Arnold was the best general that Gen. George Washington had under his command. He entrusted Arnold with the defense of West Point. Arnold on the other hand had other pressing priorities.

I think my point is pretty clear without mentioning any names.

Re: Is HB 3218 Dead ?

George Washington was also given to 1/2 page sentences - so you're in good company.

You would think that Texas had already changed to "Blue" .

This is what is commonly referred to as a "sell-out" in exchange for leadership needing support from Democrats. Not a good sign.

Re: It was Twenty Years ago Today...

The ill-conceived ATF assault against the Branch Davidians was planned as a training excercise against a perceived " soft target " - due to the presence of children.

I suspect one of the best ways to appreciate the Texas legislative process is to learn how to play the violin .

Re: Liberals Panic As They Lose the Gun Narrative

I wouldn't throw in the towel on Colorado just yet.

I expect to see a Republican take over there in 2014 because of the Democrats sucking up to THE COMMUNIST -IN-CHIEF, and Mayor Blooming-idiot.

Re: Interesting

The decision in the NRA case ( D'Costa I believe) in Lubbock handed down in January 2012 - recognized that Texas law ALLOWS the open carry of a long gun. This is Texas law. Subjective "discomforts" with the excercise of this right NOT YET INFRINGED UPON by the high powers of State government notwith...

Re: Robber shot by man with CHL

I'm stepping out on the proverbial limb - and stating that I believe the FWPD is doing their best to suppress the fact that the victim of an armed robbery defended himself resulting in the death of the perp.

This should not be so "complicated"- unless you don't like the narrative.

Re: Robber shot by man with CHL

5 P.M. report on Channel 4 out of Ft Worth - the same channel that posted online that a CHL holder was shot in the arm and hand while defending himself from an armed robbery attempt. Have not accessed any other local reportings on the incident yet. Channel 11 DFW hasn't repored on it yet. I suspect ...

Re: Robber shot by man with CHL

Nobody "wins" if the TRUTH is concealed to protect the "progressive" more guns = more " gun violence" agenda.

"Gun violence" isn't always a bad thing.

Re: Robber shot by man with CHL

I read the online report by Fox 4 News around 3 p.m. At around 5:10 P.M. on their nightly news they are reporting this incident as though it were a " drug deal gone BAD". No mention was made of the VICTIM of a robbery attempt being a CHL holder. HE -the victim - was referenced as a "suspect" ! No CH...

Re: Chicago: Liberals' blueprint for America

We are living in a time when this Republic is confronted by a monumental cross-roads. This Republic is confronted with the prospect of having an illigitimate, undocumented alien in the White House....pretending to be "president". The lines have been drawn. States like Alaska, Texas, Wyoming, Montana,...

Re: Rally Behind HB3218

HB 3218 recognizes that CHL holders are responsible citizens, and that public saftety is not enhanced by laws that require these CHL holders to leave loaded handguns locked inside their parked vehicles subject to criminal break-in. I thought this was one lesson taken away from the 1991 Luby's traged...
