Re: 2014 Primary Polling shows Cornyn may be on the ropes

I believe Cornyn would win a solid majority in a closed Republican primary, but there are races on the ballot like the District 92 legislature race where a dyed in the wool Liberal is encouraging Democrats and Teachers Union members to cross over and vote for him to defeat the conservative incumbent...

Re: 2014 Primary Polling shows Cornyn may be on the ropes

I know there will be mixed feelings on this and who should win the Republican nomination. My intent is to bring it to people's attention and encourage people to get informed and vote! http://www.theblaze.com/contributions/texas-primaries-cornyn-slipping-well-below-50/" onclick="window.open(this.hre...

Re: Am I The Only Dinosaur Without A Smart Phone?

I love my new Samsung Galaxy Note 3.. I would hate to go back to the 80's when I had to carry a pager and a roll of quarters and know where the pay phones were..

Re: CDL carrying laws

Back in 2000 I was managing a trucking company. We had a driver who had acquired a cute little single shot .45 derringer that he had in his go bag. While on a run to Boston he discovered he was diabetic by passing out. He managed to pull over and when the police arrived they took him to the hospital...

Re: Debate Texas LT Govenor

I too see Patrick as a little slimy, but that whole line of questioning was out of line. The reporter kept trying to insist he should payback one creditor from his bankruptcy 25 years ago. I believe paying a creditor outside of the court proceedings and not paying others is bankruptcy fraud. Or how...

Re: Debate Texas LT Govenor

[quote="RoyGBiv" Honestly, I was INCREDIBLY disappointed in this debate. "Let's see who's the most Conservative" does nothing but reinforce to those who might vote Democrat that they are looking at 4 candidates who represent everything the Democrats warn them about. Of course they more or less agree...

Personally, I'm going to be more hesitant to call LE to my home as a result of this case. The risks of dealing a BG are less of a problem than my possibly being in a "failure to comply" situation.

Re: Debate Texas LT Govenor

Worried about Patterson's endorsement of legalizing marijuana. If you watched it or listen closely he said Medical use of THC. He pointed out that Opiates, Barbiturates, Codeine, and Cocaine are all available for medical purposes. He did not endorse legalizing or decriminalizing recreational use. I...

Was the debate recorded? http://keranews.org/texas-debates-race-lieutenant-governor" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Tks. This debate didn't enlighten me enough to make any kind of decision. Their positions are mostly the same. For me it comes down to Campus Carry and Dewhurst has had...

Re: Debate Texas LT Govenor

I saw the debate too. For a while they had a person speaking Spanish over top the candidate's English. It was very hard to understand. Also at the very end, David Dewhurst said his closing remarks and then the audio "went out" on the other three candidates. I also like Jerry alot. I watched on KERA...

Re: 2015 MLB Stadiums

Professional sporting events have always been against the law for CHL carry, so no real change here unless you have been carrying even though it is illegal. It is already illegal to carry at a Rangers game.. I suppose the Astro's opponents are considered "Professional" sports teams "rlol" "rlol" "r...
