Re: Certificates Received?

:banghead: :banghead: I was in the Tues class and handed my CHL-100 to Sherrie when she was grading tests. No update, guess I need to call them. Hmm when I had it to give to her at class, she told me no, to e-mail it to DPS. Do you have a copy? I'd just send it again. Interesting. When she posted h...

Re: DC Gun Laws - where is the accountability?

I agree, on the surface it seems pretty messed up. Of course, the DA's could just be stonewalling the media as it's pretty clear that the government messed up badly here. Why throw more fuel on the fire? Can you imagine a corrections / probation system that is understaffed and can't properly respon...

Re: North Texas Winter Storm

I deliver newspapers (Ft Worth Star-Telegram, Dallas Morning News, Wall Street Journal, etc) I delivered all on Friday, most on Saturday and none on Sunday until after 5 PM. Still could not get to some areas with ice covered hills. Amazes me that 8 customers were stupid enough to call in to complain...

Re: Alamo Heights: Officer fatally shoots student

... the LEO was not on school grounds when he made the traffic stop With a few limitations and fine print, all certified Texas LEOs have statewide jurisdiction. Game wardens can stop a vehicle for expired registration. You can be proned out, cuffed, and/or shot for a burned out license plate light....

Re: 7 of 13 revolvers

So if a person qualifies with a 5 shot revolver, he has to load 4, then 4 more, then 2 more? Yes, and if you take a 5-shot revolver to the DPS range, you'll be the target of grief from the troopers, as they have to change their sequences to accommodate you. Actually, No.. They did not give any grie...

Re: Will outstanding Tolls disqualify me?

Just gave him advice to do the right thing with this forum rule in mind as I would think promoting not paying tolls would be illegal. 4. No posting of messages promoting illegal conduct. ;) OK. Skip the tolls and get the free class. You should be good to go if you do it before a warrant is issued. ...

Re: My Vote Mattered

Every vote alwase counts. Unless you live in Florida or voting for the president in that case its an electoral college and that makes little to no sense to me lol. The President is elected by the "States" through the Electoral College, not by the people. It is the system the Founders set up. There ...
