Its a sad day indeed. I guess the anti's won this round.

All in the name of progress. Who needs it when it takes food out of a (or several) families mouths.

I hope they can find a new place soon. Best of luck to Mike and his family.

Keep us informed on the progress of his search.

Congradulations.

As I tell all with new plastic, be safe, practice often, and hope you never have to use it.

Always (almost) locked. The almost is when my kids come by (they all have keys, for now) and they don't lock up when they leave. I have come home several times and found the door unlocked. It has gotten better since I had a family meeting and told all of them that they would pay for anything missing...

I'm still on the fence as to whether I would open carry or not. I'm sure I would in certain cases and maybe in time I would more often than not.

The point is it is our right and should be allowed and let the choice to do so be our own, not some politicians. :patriot:

I would add, include the Purple Heart recipients in the discount as well as the disabled Veterans. Or, just include ALL military veterans - they all served, after all. "Freedom isn't Free" - and I wouldn't mind my taxes subsidizing something like this for those folks whose livelihood was keeping th...

If you waited a month to send it off, what does 2-3 months more matter. LOL. Seriously though, Practice as much as you can. See what mode of carry works best for you and use it around the house every chance and as much as possible. Get comforatable with how you intend to carry and conceal. Th...

How much ammo to bring at forum day

I've already PM'd Charles with this question but thought I would get input from others.

How much ammo should I bring with me? 200, 400-500 rounds?

Good post Kevin, I have always been around guns. Dad, Granddad and uncles were all hunters. I got my 1st rifle at Christmas when I was 6. Single shot 22 (still have it and will pass it down to oldest grandson). I was always intrigued by pistols, but it took me gettig robbed at gunpoint in 1972 to ge...

Good job Ray. The Glock/1911 rivalry has got to be as much fun as the Aggie/Longhorn. Since I did not go to either school I have to get all the miles I can out of the G/1911. I tell anyone that asks that they are a quality arms. If they were not, then they would not be the choice of as many LEO age...
