Re: Driving While Carrying

After some trial and error, I think I have found my carry position for driving and out in public. I now have my holster at 9 o clock and I slightly changed the way I dress to make concealing easier also. Thanks everyone for the input given. It has really been helpful.

Re: Situational Awareness

Whenever I go out, I try to find the people who are carrying with no luck. Either not very many people carry or they are really good at concealing. Makes me wonder if I could be pointed out as carrying. :headscratch

Don't be making that promise until you're done with training. I'm sure your FTO will have a different opinion.:

Re: Is Open Carry Activism Threatening our CHL rights.

From reading the threads on here about open carry, it seems to me that most of us are for open carry and most probably won't go around carrying as such except in certain situations. From what I've gathered, we want it basically to relieve some of the worrying about accidentally exposing our concealm...

I got the job. After I pass my test tomorrow I come back to get sworn in as a deputy. I have to supply all my own gear so I need everything. Any websites to find all my duty gear will be appreciated. How do you feel about online classes?
