Re: XDS 3.3 or 4.0 in .45 cal. ?

Been waffling back and forth trying to decide whether to buy another M&P or get an XDS. I stopped by a local shop yesterday to pick up some cleaning supplies and he had both versions of the XDS. I handled both and like them better than my M&P 9. Now my only decision is 3.3" or 4.0". I'm leaning tow...

Re: White lives matter too!!!

They're being consistent. They hate cops. The problem with the BlackLivesMatter movement's narrative is that there are stupid people thinking this narrative is some sort of license to attack and kill police officers. I know, I'm preaching to the choir. You all know this. It is just frustrating that...

When ever someone says something to the effect of: "This is driving me crazy!". My normal response is "Short drive!"

I also despise the phrase: "abundance of caution"

Re: only in California (I hope)

I am thinking that California needs to adopt some other laws. According to the CDC ( http://www.cdc.gov/motorvehiclesafety/impaired_driving/impaired-drv_factsheet.html ), a drunk driver kills someone every 51 minutes. Therefore, (1) in California, only people with a "owners license" should be allowe...

Re: UT professor not teaching

Since when did criminals bother to break the law LEGALLY? What I find interesting is that when a drunk driver kills people, the politicians blame the driver. When a person kills people with a gun, politicians blame the gun. It is a good thing I have a good relationship with my guns. I don't worry th...

Re: Eligibility questions. Yes DA.

You need to check that the court record accurately reflects that you completed your requirements successfully. Your attorney can do that for you. I am not attorney, so I don't give legal advice. Using an attorney is the best way to get the correct information.

Re: Don't point gun at your neck when taking selfies-Houston

I know this might be second nature to gun owners, but maybe there needs to be a campaign or public service announcement to educate the public that that first rule of gun safety is to treat every gun as if it is always loaded. The 2nd message might be to educate the public that guns are inanimate obj...

Re: Study determines that guns don't slow crime.

"We found no support for the hypothesis that owning more guns leads to a drop or a reduction in violent crime," said study researcher Michael Monuteaux, an epidemiologist and professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. "Instead, we found the opposite." http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/gun...

That is so messed up on so many levels. You report an armed robbery and no cops show up. Sounds like Dallas needs a new Police Chief.

Re: Houston Business Journal Poll on Whataburger's OC Policy

This poll is a pretty good indication of the bias infecting the Houston Business Journal http://www.bizjournals.com/houston/pulse/poll/which-business-sector-will-feel-the-most-impact-from-open-carry/17639482 Which business sector will feel the most impact from 'open carry'?
