Re: New Colt Python 2020

I saved and bought one back in the 70’s. By far my favorite gun I’ve owned. Unfortunately when I was overseas my brother “borrowed “ it and sold it. I think I paid $360.00 back then In today's dollars: $2,386.47 I know and am still mad at him over this :mad5 Why on EARTH would he do that to you? :b...

Re: New Colt Python 2020

I heard about this several months ago. I was hoping they would change their minds. My Python collection has likely taken a major financial hit. In my opinion, it hasn't taken a hit - knowing gun people, there will always be those who will value the originals over any new production (eg pre-64 Winch...

Re: New Colt Python 2020

I am glad that Colt is going to reintroduce the Python. I imagine they will be scarce and hard to find. They are still my favorite revolver. The 4 inch was the first gun I ever purchased. It cost $300 back in 1976. I have not put a whole lot of rounds through it - maybe a couple of thousand. I stil...

Re: PG&E Cutting Power

That is truly beyond belief! I would have just fired up my chainsaw and made firewood out of it. The micromanagement of people's lives and property boggles the mind. I could NEVER live in such a place. At least not peacefully. Oh that old thing? What? it fell over in the wind last Thursday so we cu...

Re: PG&E Cutting Power

I told you so! Sonora, CA — Be advised, PG&E electricity rates will go up starting on New Year’s Day. The average customer is anticipated to see an increase in electric bills by around 2.7-percent, which will be around $3.29 per month. The increase was earlier approved by the California Public Utili...

Re: CA: Baypoint liquor store GG kills BG with 1 round.

The point being missed is that this was in CA. It is unlikely that clerk will be allowed to carry, unless he has made a large contribution to the Sheriff's campaign fund. :banghead: An article written in 2017 stated that there were 317 concealed carry permits issued in Contra Costa County Californi...

I really believe many anti gun people are projecting on others when they claim people will just get mad and start shooting.

The city of Dallas won’t be held liable for the death of Botham Jean, a federal district judge ruled this week. U.S. District Judge Barbara Lynn dismissed the city from a civil lawsuit filed by Jean’s family. Jean, a black man from St. Lucia living in Dallas, was killed in his own home by Amber Guy...

Re: First Gibson guitar

Andy, in case you havent get some ernie ball strap locks. I have dropped several guitars until I changed out the standard mounts for strap locks. Nice strap also. I like that. https://www.guitarcenter.com/Strap-Locks.gc The first thing I thought when I saw the strap was that it looked like a rifle ...

Bourbon Burst in color, purchased from Sweetwater. I doubt I can do this justice, being a poor guitarist - but I'm going to make the effort and I've wanted a real Les Paul for decades.

Miracle nobody was killed. Trucking company's insurer is loving that video.
So true. Also the driver did a great job of preventing at least 2 fatalities. :tiphat:
