Re: FL:Stand your ground law under fire for parking space dispute murder

Normal people don't provoke an argument over a parking violation and threaten to use deadly force. You don't like his behavior. Thats obvious. It's also obvious he doesn't like people parking illegally in handicap parking spaces. He had as much right to criticize her parking as you do to criticize ...

Re: Work carry VS off work carry

I carry a Ruger LC9S while at work. We have to be very discreet and conceal well. I wear a Cross Breed IWB holster with my shirt untucked. When I am not going to the plant, I opt for something larger and move to OWB. I rotate between a 1911 .45, an M&P .45, and my trusty old S&W 28 .357. None of tho...

Even odds that he isn't a hunter, just another leftist writer wanting to bash the NRA.
Maybe a family member took him hunting, ...... once.

Nothing but drivel.

There is more to this story. Hawaii is about the most anti gun place in America. :confused5

Re: FL:Stand your ground law under fire for parking space dispute murder

To me the tragedy here is that a very good law is now under criticism due to a very unfortunate event that should never have happened. Both the shooter and the decedent were guilty of provoking and escalating hostilities. Over what? Illegal parking? Why would anyone..... But now a law that was inten...

Re: OH: Wife finds intruder in her bed holding a hatchet and.....oh just go RTWT

I would have had my wife call 911 while I held my gun on him and waited for LEO to arrive. If he made any attempt to come towards me with that hatchet he would have went down. IMHO warning shots into the ground are a bad tactic. You ever hear of an LEO firing a warning shot? I think not. In this ins...

Re: District of Columbia CCL

The license is good for two years from date of issue. All handguns to be carried must first be registered with DC MPD. You can only have ammunition in the District that fits your registered gun. No mags over 10 rd and if you carry with one in the pipe you can only have 9 in the mag. Only one full m...

Re: Friend with Alzheimer's

Lock the guns up. How to approach that with your friend all depends on the stage of this horrible disease that he is in. From personal experience, I can say that it will only get worse. Having access to a firearm of any kind is a terrible danger to all the people he is around while going through thi...

Re: Three professors sue UT to keep guns out of their classrooms

An appeal of this case is being heard Wednesday by a panel of judges on the 5th Circuit Ct. of Appeals. http://tpr.org/post/us-5th-circuit-set-hear-lawsuit-challenging-texas-campus-carry-law Renae Hicks, who represents UT Austin sociology professor Jennifer Glass, appealed that ruling to the U.S. 5...
