I swear if they aired all these "GG shoots BG" news every day publicly, it might deter some BGs from committing crime. Or at least I naively believe so.
I have now added that to the list of things I would require if I were dictator.

Re: hog hunting with 10mm pistol: 180gr or 200gr?

I can't stop laughing at this post. All the hog killer experts are offering various and sundry opinions. I've killed over 1,000 hogs in the last 15 years. About 50/50 as to whether or not they were in a trap. As far as killing them in a trap goes, I've seen a boar take three .357 magnum rounds...

Bravo to the bread man, Joseph Chilton! When the time came, he took action. And as far as both the articles cited, LEO praised him for what he did.

Re: I guess my original plan for Afghanistan after 9/11 was right afterall

I don't know diddly squat about that place except for what I read in the distorted media accounts. And I have no desire to have firsthand knowledge. But history says the soviets fought a log war there then gave up. We have fought a long war there and it seems we have not significantly changed the si...

Amazing, simply amazing. He gets a weapon on base but I, who am a retired veteran with CCW permit.....I can't carry a weapon on post. Just amazing! <MP> How many rules and regulations were broken here? Or do foreign nationals have different rules? I don't know. But it would not surprise me if some ...

Good job! Right behind the ear and they go down instantly. In the chest, not so much.

He was facing a Captains Mast, and had an XOI earlier that day. Don't ask me how I know.

IMHO, if you go south of that border, you're putting your life in the hands of violent criminals. No thanks.
:iagree: There is no law down there anymore.

Re: TX: Houston Police Officer has ND shooting self at academy range

From the article. "The gunshot entered in this thigh and came out on his lower leg near his ankle. It appears to be a through and through wound. we’re very happy and relieved to say he is alert, conscious and he is doing well,” Acevedo said. He blamed the holster, saying it has a design flaw that he...

This reporting sounds a bit hopeful. https://reason.com/2019/12/02/new-york-city-which-defended-its-onerous-gun-transport-restrictions-as-necessary-for-public-safety-concedes-they-werent/ I am following this with much interest. I have read several articles quoting a few sentences from the oral argu...

Which 1911 Sights

I've got a Colt 1911 70 series that I love to shoot, but my old eyes are having trouble picking up the sights. It has the original sights, no dots, just a post and a v sight on the rear.
