Re: Genuine Mags or aftermarket?

MecGar is OEM for numerous gunmakers (Beretta and Tangfolio come immediately to mind). I have an even mix of about 10 each, MecGar and Ruger, and they all function perfectly. :coolgleamA: :iagree: Quality third party magazines can be as good or better than "genuine" magazines. Mecgar and Magpul com...

And yet the people in power don't see the real problems... :banghead:
Don't kid yourself. They see the real problems but fixing real problems won't advance their agenda.

Re: Proposed: Texas require all motorists to carry yellow safety vests in their vehicles

Yeah, while we're at it, mandate that everyone carry 6 safety flares, you know, just in case.... And a hard hat and a set of safety glasses. Just in case. And a safety snakebite kit. Because, you never know. And a case of safety bottled water. Because...well, you know....it's for the children. See ...

Re: HB 497 - Add Types and Uses of Ammunition to Required LTC Course Curriculum

It looks like one of the smoke and mirror bills from the Straus era, when the Texas legislature liked to have a bunch of "feel good" bills they could use as cover for not passing the "do good" bills, without making it completely obvious they're stonewalling.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

3. By design, since it was such a long time ago with no witnesses or video tapes or audio recordings or whatever, the card is literally a he-said-she-said game. Also with such a large gap between the supposed event and anyone hearing about it, there's no way anyone would be convicted of that crime ...

Re: Angola Central Bank got one of those emails promising to make them rich. Largest bank robbery in history.

Last month, prosecutors in Angola announced a variety of criminal charges against a son of Mr. dos Santos, the former central-bank governor and two others in relation to the alleged fraud.
It sounds like an inside job.

Re: Stand Alone ER's / Rip Offs or ...?

Be sure to check your co-pay and call your insurance and/or the facility to better anticipate any costs. The stand alone locations can be very pricey but as above, it may be worth it to avoid long wait times. :cheers2: Capitalism still works sometimes, despite the chains government puts on the invi...

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

There is an important distinction that has to be made of course, between imposition of the welfare state, and the spirit of service to the community. The pioneering, conquering spirit of service to the community is not about handing **** out for free to others in your community and nation. It’s abo...

Re: Texas Carry Executive Director sued for filing signage complaint against Waller County

It's incredible a government agency can sue a whistle blower but citizens can't sue government agencies and agents that post improper 30.06 signs and illegally try to enforce them.

I'm not sure if I should raise or lower the odds I posted in https://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic ... 81&t=93824

On a related note, what would y'all's best guesses be on the likelihood of a TEOTWAWKI scenario playing our in our lifetimes? For the sake of standardizing on remaining lifetime, lets say the next 40 years. Without going all Bill Clinton on you, it depends how you define "as we know it." A financia...
