... the rail being integral to the plastic receiver so it’s not rigid the way a metallic rail on metallic receiver would be. But as I recall, the iron sights worked OK. But I’ll have to chat him up and see what he says. I might not be remembering correctly.... I don't know if I'll ever get used to ...

Re: Kel-Tec SU-16C - Advise Appreciated!

I had one - it was not accurate and I could not find ammo that it liked. The front site fell off and I lost it. ....BTW, the pins on mine all but fell out if you even looked at them. You cannot stake pins in a plastic receiver. Wow! Was this a recent one? I don't know how long they've been out, but...

Re: Kel-Tec SU-16C - Advise Appreciated!

.....I have not seen what prices they are going for. These days you can probably find a lightweight AR for near the same price. Maybe not that light. If I understand correctly, a true "AR" is like a universal modular platform? In other words, you can mix and match parts. While the Kel-Tec can't use...

Kel-Tec SU-16C - Advise Appreciated!

I haven't been a huge fan of the more "tactical" weapons until somewhat recently. It all started with purchasing a *cough* *cough* plastic 9mm for concealed carry. But let's face it, plastic is light, and you can find 9mm ammo just about anywhere. The same seems to hold true for the 5.56mm round. Wh...

Awesome! :thumbs2:
I have no idea why yours took so long. But, I'm glad to hear you're finally seeing progress!

Re: TX: Houston couple tied up and murdered by robbers

Those punks have no respect or decency whatsoever! They even hung around the house for hours like it was their own. Investigators said the video indicates that the Lams’ killers returned to the home several times between their initial attack Thursday night and when the couple’s bodies were found Sat...

Nice belt! :thumbs2: Unfortunately, it's too big for me.
My size would be a 36 from the end of my buckle to hole I use with IWB.

Re: SAR 9 - 9mm Semi-Auto - Own One?

I don't own a SAR 9. But I have a Beretta Nano 9mm that has a notoriously long and hard trigger!
I'd say around 700 rounds, it really started to smooth out. In a video from Beretta, it was one of the side notes. I think the same would apply to any striker fired trigger.

Strider SMF
It's been years since I've actively been into collecting knives. Eventually I ended up pocketing the Strider for EDC.
It just feels solid.

Re: Snatch and Grab at Church Tonight

I was watching some hilarious videos of package thieves a.k.a "porch bandits." And how people were booby trapping them, non-lethal of course. Nobody's died from dog feces that I'm aware of..lol. Around Christmas time, it's a real problem in some areas. Anyhow, one guy had his wife's iPhone stolen. W...

Ameriglo Tritium Sights - Beretta Nano $29

:hurry: If you were on the fence about getting night sights for your Nano, this might be the nudge you needed! I should be getting mine next week. The Ebay ad mentioned 2015. I'm guessing it's the Tritium date. It's from Ameriglofactorydirect AmeriGlo Tritium Green Night Sight Set Beretta Nano Br-14...

Re: Not your average dilemma

If you post any pictures, make sure there is no GPS coordinates embedded in the picture.
It's probably not a good idea to disclose the actual location online.

The easiest way on a cellphone is to turn the "location" setting on the phone off. Then take the picture.
