Re: Proper Exersize

Amazon, Walmart, Target and Academy sells that bike. I ordered mine online and put it together myself, it comes with the mountain bike handlebars which gave me a pain in my back hunched over riding. I put the high-rise bars on by watching a video on YouTube. The bikes don't have enough grease on th...

Ruger addressed my 10mm quip!

I said something like, the Austrians, Croations and Slovakions can make a poly-frame 10mm, but Ruger can't? We've heard about how effectively the American's (9mm and 45ACP) dispel recoil with the effective camblock design that slightly reduces slide mass and allows for sustained use of +P ammo (in e...

Re: Proper Exersize

Have you tried audiobooks? I find that getting lost in a story makes workouts (particularly those like walking that are not exceedingly strenuous) go much more quickly/pleasantly. I do not have the time or patients to read good books but I find I really enjoy books while I walk, mow, paint and such...

Re: Glock 44 - .22 LR pistol

I'm not a huge Glock fan, but I've owned a few. I am, however, impressed with the simplicity of this Model 44's design. One question remains concerning the energy of different .22 LR loads, and if any change in spring weight will be required for rounds like the Stingers , etc? If Glock has them all...

Re: Proper Exersize

Have you tried audiobooks? Sounds like a great idea. For me, its music. I even walk faster when I'm listening. The entertainment from either would distract you from boredom. Hopefully you don't have to deal with car traffic in getting to a walking track. Our closest park that has a 2/3 mile walking...

Re: Anyone on the SE side of Houston have H1000?

Been looking for H1000 to load 6.5 PRC but can’t find any. If anyone has an unopened pound they would be willing to trade (somewhere around PSC) let me know. I’ve got Varget and a few other powders I’d trade (or I’ll buy it from you if you order). I could also trade for a couple FFL transfers. Don'...

Re: What Can Someone Tell Me About A Tavor

Just so we're clear, the question I raised regarding velocity was in regard to 75/77 gr. Open Tip Match bullets needing 2700 - 2750 FPS and a 1 in 8" twist or faster to effectively tumble and be accurate out to 300 yards. So what exactly did you answer? No - just so WE are clear, I wasn't talking a...

I've been to Maryland, NJ and IL.)
You need to take IL off your list. Their CCL laws are very similar to Texas.
Okay, so long as we can forget about Chicago. The city, not the band! ;-)

Re: What Can Someone Tell Me About A Tavor

I'll agree with the first part, in theory, but in real world terms, what do the world's finest spec operators use in CQB? And without having face planted next to chamber. I don't care what they use Just an FYI, but no country has as many LE Agencies as the USA. A fairly high percentage of them have...
