Re: Poly80 Experience?

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience (x 2). You can complete the build with an Xacto knife and a hand drill or a Dremel and hand drill. A fellow on the Enos forums had a bad experience, where the jig (it looked like a 26 frame) allowed the frame to slip down, at the rear. As with any of these types of...

Re: Road Rage in Willis; LTC involved

The part of this that bothers me is that someone can just claim you waved a gun at them and it is up to you to prove you didn't. Seems a bit backwards. Maybe this guy admitted it or something. There has to be more to the story. Could be, or it could just be someone with an axe to grind who's of abo...

Re: S&W .380 EZ sometime won't drop hammer on first trigger pull

Not to be harsh, but the manual safety versions of the Shield are overly complex, showing their Walther heritage. Without having it in-hand, the safety has likely impinged on the trigger bar, causing it to bind, either on the frame or one of the parts it is nestled with, requiring the reset spring t...

Re: Democrats introduce victims can sue gun manufacturers bill

Car manufacturers for drunk driver's? How about the manufacturer of the beer, wine and other spirits. That could actually go somewhere. It would be worth investigating any State subsidies to the Napa Valley, or other, "special considerations,"(e.g., more concentrated fire protection/intervention st...

Welcome! :thewave A few thoughts: Glocks will make you a careful gun handler. Remember- reholstering is NEVER a competition event. Now there's a nifty idea, particularly for places like California/New Jersey/Canada. "It's just a coin purse, officer". :biggrinjester:
Really well made, and pretty stout if you have a handful of Eisenhower dollars to carry.

Re: AZ: Kidnapping foiled

I haven’t decided yet for sure, but I’m thinking a 21” (extended) unit. I can’t decide between a black chrome Asp, or the Airweight version with a vinyl handle and aluminum extensions. The airweight weighs just over 8 oz, and the black chrome version weighs twice that. I imagine that the heavier un...

Have to say, I'm not real keen on the, "pulled over to apologize..." concept. Nice in theory, but just far too many unintended potentials- as evidenced.

Apparently some media debate over the truth of the dog feeding story http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2014/01/03/259386090/did-kim-jong-un-feed-his-uncle-to-120-dogs-be-skeptical I'm sorry, I'm confused- is NPR posing questions regarding the habits of the Washington Post and their own reporting,...

Re: Bond Arms advertised on radio today

Really well made, and definitely solid guns. Hardly lightweight, but they shoot some potent calibers from small packages. Several years ago, they bought the rights to the Boberg's XR9-S, and its one of the few "unique" guns, I really would like to have. http://mousegunaddict.blogspot.com/2012...

Re: DIY mailboxes vs. thieves

Growing up in Colorado, we contended with snowplows and summer mailbox batting sprees. Best solution was made by a neighbor: 8 foot 3" x 1/8" steel pipe post, down 4' in concrete 1/8" steel plate, welded into a box shape 6" steel hinge, shielded by recess into the box body, welded to door & box If y...
