Re: FL: Man kills woman with gun

The woman was shot in the upper body.
I imagined a different kind of GSW, one that is more hidden. But that just shows how my mind works. I'll shut up now.
The sad part that the perp lived to reproduce, although she is out of the equation so .... 50% success rate in this one.

Re: East Coast being over run by deer

We had the same situation locally a few years ago. Smart people suggested strongly to control the ober-population. Dumb libtards cried rape. Threw sticks under everybody's feet, the city council couldn't do sh*t. Shooting them was "loud and disturbing". Using a crossbow was "scary silent and barbari...

Any FFL members in Austin?

I did perform a search, did not find anybody current, only years-old posts, defunct webpages and disconnected phone numbers.
Are there any active FFL dealers in the Austin area?

We accordingly overrule Robinson and those decisions of our Superior Court that

Chuck Norris can navigate by VOR beyond line of sight.
Speaking of VORs, I remembered that ...
Only Chuck Norris can comply with clearance "cross Red Table VOR at one zero thousand".

Okay, enough flyboy jokes, somebody post something for normal people now.

Meh. Easy.
But only Chuck Norris can navigate on a defunct Victor airway below MRA, 1000 nm away, years after the VOR has been decommissioned.

Re: PA gun transfer laws?

Person to person private sale within a state, well, most states, no FFL needs to be involved and no 4473 form completed nor an NICS background check. However, as Steve mentioned, once you purchase from another state you gotta jump through a couple hoops. I assume no more special hoops than what you...

You will need to get it shipped to an ATF licensed dealer in Texas. It is a violation of federal law for a resident of one state to purchase and take possession of any handgun in another state.
Interesting, that is something I had no idea about. Happily ignorant.
Thank you, sir.

Howdy, if this belongs to another subforum, please move it, mods. I have a question about PA laws. As a TX CHL holder, I would like to purchase a used handgun from a fellow PA CHL holder, in the state of PA, in person. The seller mentioned that as the buyer I'd be responsible for the transfer fees. ...

Sort of like the swastikas Brad Pitt, engraved on the Naatzis in Inglorious Bastards.
